We're talking about women's rights in general, not restricting it to one movement or another. And really, your comment does nothing to mitigate this gem: And women have had plenty of time to prove they're actually equal. Instead, they've open up a big can of mediocrity and they just keep begging for more and more privileges over men to make them seem equals. Well, from the point of view of that particular circumcision argument, I engaged somebody on it, brought up the "pros" I had heard from my dad (a physician) and then went and looked up their cons. They were right; I changed my opinion, went back and posted the best scholarly article on the topic that I found. That was one of my favorite experiences on reddit and I wouldn't mind repeating it.

No, in fact I'm not. If you read the subreddit rules, that is specifically not allowed, because in order to submit you have to link back to the original comment. This gives the person a chance to talk, and whoever else reads the comment a chance to respond as well. Probably. But I thought it might also be (for people who want it to be) a place to find out why other people think the way they do. I myself have come across a couple of things on reddit (like circumcision, which I hadn't thought much about before but am now against) that I wouldn't have found without some interesting disagreements.
