1	Zimbabwe Health Demographic Survey shows HIV infection rate higher on circumcised men Years ago when they first started the pro-circumcision campaign, anti-circumcision advocates were saying that this would happen... that men would see it as carte blanche to be unsafe. Which is exactly what happened. Not that I'm happy that we were right... I am sad and disgusted. Even if the 60% prevention rate for HIV with circumcision is true, it doesn't beat 99% prevention rate with condoms. And condoms don't involve losing part of your genitals. 1	Disturbing. a feminist argument for circumcision, on the basis that it makes men better by making them more like women. People will rationalize anything to support this practice. I hear where you're coming from, but that's not the best tack to take if your ultimate goal is ending circumcision. 3	Our topics include things ranging from double standards in genital mutilation, in child custody, conscription, working with children, women encourages to be engineers but men not encouraged to be nurses, etc. How much do feminists agree with or care about our topics? 1	Circumcision Trauma I am very glad those videos are being put out there so people can see for themselves exactly how heinous circumcision is. I think every parent who wants to have their child circumcised should legally be required to view a video like this. I will never watch it personally, however - I just can't bear it.
