Should girls go to college to get their MRS degrees? You're missing the point. "Getting her MRS degree" is a euphemism for going to college to find a husband - in other words, becoming a Mrs. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/12/13 05:58 AM
Is r/creepypms a safe place to slut shame men for free karma? Really bothering me.The last two posts I just read in creepyPMs were about PMs from women. One was posted by a male OP, the other by a female, but both of the harassers in this case were female. /r/creepyPMs is not gender specific. | /r/MensRights | 24/04/13 07:05 AM
Zimbabwe Health Demographic Survey shows HIV infection rate higher on circumcised menThat sound you hear is my head hitting the desk. I just want to rip all my hair out in frustration. I am so very angry at the people who perpetrated this evil. I don't even have words. Condoms and birth control are evil... but slicing off part of your genitalia is a-ok! | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 09:08 PM
Having a baby soon, need some opinions. : ParentingSorry, but I'm changing his diaper. I find it creepy. Ugh. A child's genitalia should not be surgically altered to please their parents' aesthetic sensibilities! How does she not see how wrong that it is? | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 01:36 PM
Having a baby soon, need some opinions. : ParentingThanks for pointing this out. I gave her my two cents, or so. Hopefully she might take it to heart... I really hope she does some research apart from just posting on Reddit. | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 01:33 PM
Zimbabwe Health Demographic Survey shows HIV infection rate higher on circumcised menYears ago when they first started the pro-circumcision campaign, anti-circumcision advocates were saying that this would happen... that men would see it as carte blanche to be unsafe. Which is exactly what happened. Not that I'm happy that we were right... I am sad and disgusted. Even if the 60% prevention rate for HIV with circumcision is true, it doesn't beat 99% prevention rate with condoms. And condoms don't involve losing part of your genitals. It makes me absolutely sick that pro-circumcis… | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 01:07 PM
Ritual circumcision: religious rights of parents are at odds with the best interests of the childThe court ruled that the "fundamental right of the child to physical integrity and self-determination outweighed the fundamental rights of the parents", stating that there was an inherent constitutional limit to the religious rights of the parents. The child was too young to give consent and the parents did not have the right to consent on his behalf to a procedure that would lead to his body being 'permanently and irreparably changed' and that could affect his own religious interests later. | 1 | Disturbing. a feminist argument for circumcision, on the basis that it makes men better by making them more like women. People will rationalize anything to support this practice.I hear where you're coming from, but that's not the best tack to take if your ultimate goal is ending circumcision. Unfortunately, lots of mothers have had just that opinion "I'll leave it up to his father to decide, because it's a men's issue", and then the dad decided to have the son cut because he was, too, and wanted to justify his own mutilation. So many times in the 18 years I have been an intactivist, I have had to talk a woman out of this idea and make her realize that it is her job to p… | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 09:24 AM
Our topics include things ranging from double standards in genital mutilation, in child custody, conscription, working with children, women encourages to be engineers but men not encouraged to be nurses, etc. How much do feminists agree with or care about our topics? For what it's worth, I consider myself a feminist (I am female) and I am concerned about all those issues. I feel that if we are not all equal, than none of us are. Double standards hurt women and men. It's especially troubling that men who want to take care of children not their own are suspect in this society. My boyfriend has said that he's scared to help out a lost child in a mall because he might be accused of something. That is really, really sad. Conscription in general I think should be … | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 08:45 AM
Circumcision TraumaI am very glad those videos are being put out there so people can see for themselves exactly how heinous circumcision is. I think every parent who wants to have their child circumcised should legally be required to view a video like this. I will never watch it personally, however - I just can't bear it. I saw one once 17 years ago when I first became an intactivist. That was enough. I'd rather sit through the goriest horror movie ever than see a baby get tortured. | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 08:16 AM
Wow, women were so much more beautiful before feminism destroyed the role of the fatherPerhaps you should move to a country under Sharia law, then, where morality police chase down women who aren't completely covered by their niqabs and burkas and beat them. | /r/MensRights | 09/12/11 12:52 PM
