I talk too much and sometimes say stupid shit. You’re conscious of your current incompetence. The next stage is to be conscious and competent - this involves a lot of self reflection and effort. Make notes after your interactions and see if there are certain triggers that send you into beta mode. Then work on replacing those beta responses with higher quality behavior. After a while of this you’ll become unconsciously competent. Takes time and practice. | /r/askTRP | 26/11/19 09:20 PM
RPers who have been on the brink, what stopped you from committing suicide? This quote/mindset helps: “A long historical view not only helps us to keep calm in a “time of trouble” but reminds us that there is an end to the longest tunnel. Even if we can see no good hope ahead, an historical interest as to what will happen is a help in carrying on. For a thinking man, it can be the strongest check on a suicidal feeling.” From book Why Don’t We Learn From History | /r/askTRP | 16/11/19 06:54 AM
Get over oenitis without abundanceGo to happy hour after work and talk to one new girl. Do this once a week. When you're at the office, put blinders on as best you can and think about that hot girl you're going to meet later that night. | /r/askTRP | 28/08/19 08:59 PM

How to mentally fix my shit?Try to replace your negative responses with positive ones. Right now you're like this: Anxiety -> Depression / Destructive behavior Change to this: Anxiety -> 20 push-ups Start by doing it once. Then eventually you should do it every single time. This is how you re-wire your brain. | /r/askTRP | 21/10/18 04:17 AM
Need wisdom, not on women but on life.In the future avoid jobs like that. Be thankful you're not there anymore. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, bail at the first sign of disrespect/behavior that doesn't match your expectations. Abundance mentality. If I were you I'd get another job where you are. Focus on yourself. Save money. And think real hard about what direction you want to go in. Then make another move. Keep adapting. Keep bouncing back. And most importantly keep your self respect levels high. | /r/askTRP | 21/10/18 03:53 AM
