Not to ruin the mood. But it is almost always underwhelming. It is not at all like you see in videos or photos. It is the camera settings and what not that make it much more vivid than in reality. A really good northern light show is still awesome, don't get me wrong, but you need mad luck for that unless you plan on staying a good while.
