This is true to some extent. In some cases, this could lead to a fatal decision to not quit. You can quit a dead-end job or something you're pursuing right now that is NOT meaningful and NOT valuable anymore to you. 'Who Moved My Cheese?' book is a good example of that. I'd like to change the word 'never quit' to 'keep moving'. You can quit on something, but you need to keep moving. Don't stop on something you feel like you believe will take you somewhere better than you are right now.
