| 8 | Please Stop Saying That Teacher "Had Sex With" Her Student - It's not sex, or an affair, or a scandal. It's rape. As a parent, you kinda do have to protect you teens from making obvious mistakes. It's part of the job, that doesn't mean you succeed. I like the idea of renaming. There is a significant difference between statutory rape and rape. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/16 07:07 AM |
| 12 | Please Stop Saying That Teacher "Had Sex With" Her Student - It's not sex, or an affair, or a scandal. It's rape. I see your point, but these laws are about protection. Should we also lower the age of smoking and drinking? If kids are mature enough to have sex and accept all the potential downfalls of it; STDs, pregnancies, and what not, then should we limit their use of tobacco and alcohol? Kids are vulnerable, so maybe it's better to err on the side of caution. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/16 06:40 AM |
| 3 | Prostate cancer ad found in women's toiletsI think it is entirely necessary. It shows a direct contrast of the awareness of a health issue and how it is treated in the public arena. You don't see any brown ribbons on people's cars or fund raising walks or save the 'Poo Poos' bumper stickers. In fact, did you know that if a man lives long enough, he will die of prastate cancer.? | -4 | Prostate cancer ad found in women's toiletsIf you kill yourself, then YOU killed yourself. Blame anyone you want, but the fact is YOU killed yourself. Suicide is a cowards way out. It's an ugly thing, it's a tragedy, and it leaves devastation in its path, but trying to use it to win an argument is despicable. We all have pain, we've all been grievously injured and we all deal with it. Suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem. *steps off soapbox | /r/MensRights | 04/06/16 03:55 AM |
