My dad always told me not to trust a man with shorts below his knees. Your outfit also is what I imagined when you said not to dress like a hipster. My opinion on fashion is, like you said, fit before anything else. After that look as plain as possible. Express yourself with small accessories like a fun tie, if you wear one, a watch, or maybe your socks. I myself dress like what most people would consider "Fratty" and I've never had the feeling like it has affected my game positively or otherwis…

Great FR Bro! Thanks for posting. What do you think you did differently from the 3 or 4 guys that previously approached them.

Do things for people. Its crazy how much I believe this will help. It can be as simple as complementing a friend of yours. What helped for me is to get involved in community service. I Began volunteering with underprivileged children as a tutor initially only because I needed to to complete service hours for a program. But the joy I ended up getting for doing it radiated into all aspects of my life and just made me more compassionate which people respond to. I hope this helps!

The best way to do this is simply doing things outside of your comfort zone and you normally wouldn't think of doing. You'll be surprised at how much fun you have and that fun with translate into you being more outgoing.

If she is then it's essentially a shit test and like AveofSpades said do not show jealousy. Laugh about it to yourself and go talk to another girl for a bit and catch up with her later!

A more experienced person would tell you that that there is no way you could truly care for someone if you're not comfortable talking to them. But I, like you am not quite that far. What I do is drink coffee beforehand, it makes me more focused and ready to go. Also, deep breaths work wonders. And let's face it, alcohol is liquid confidence but you can't be drunk all the time.

Join a fraternity. Best decision I've made in my college career.

I'm a college student in the US who spends all of my vacation time in Europe where my family live. I have a feeling that this Douche mentality is a lot more prevalent in Europe(in my case Germany). I've been Bullied as a child in Germany but have never had such an encounter in America. What do y'all think?

You're being far too polite. Don't talk to her as if you're her coworker. Convey your intentions by asking out instead of using a book as an excuse to see her.

This isn't pick up material but everything the Marshall Mathers LP album by Eminem really helped my confidence and taught me me give less fucks even though I'm typically not into rap.

God I love college, we just find a girl with a nice rumpus and 15 minutes later we have blue denim marks of the front of our khakis that are a bitch to clean no skills required. =)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
