Did you ever consider that the sign was talking about the toilet? "It's shorter than you think", as in, "it will splash because gravity has more time to pull your urine down to the shorter toilet".

What she wanted was for you to not break frame. People around here need to make this distinction. Women throw shit tests because they want you to prove your worth as an alpha, and not because they want you to be a beta. It's not true in every case, but usually what the woman wants is the alpha response that passes their shit test.

Why would you ignore the obvious signs she's giving you? She's shit testing you to see how you react to another man stepping into your turf. Ignoring the test is failing it here. If you care about maintaining the relationship, show her that she needs to cut the bonding with a male co-worker shit out. You can do so easily with agree and amplify. "There is a new guy at work he is actually normal for once. Nice guy." You can respond her with agree and amplify to let her know this guy has no place i…

Monk mode will put you into a mindset of self improvement, and you are already detached socially so you start right away. Self improvement always increases your opportunities in some way. Once you obtain opportunities outside of the girl, you can exercise those opportunities instead of her offers. She's left wondering what happened to you because all of a sudden you value your time at a premium. Next, she works out how to make her offers valuable again. That's core dread game.

My point is that in the post I responded to you mentioned trying to learn from her. This is probably not the best way to become what you should become, because her awesome isn't a good look on a guy. This kind of awesome is a Zen kind of thing, where you can't attain the state of mind by reaching for it directly. You have to be fully yourself and react less to what you believe others expect from you. Only then are you starting the process of becoming that awesome person.

Don't look to her for that masculine role model of not giving a fuck. She has never faced the same kinds of pressure from society that you do as a man. She probably has faced social pressure and beaten it, but as a woman, and that is different from your challenges. Find a strong male role model.

At the very least, practice monk mode while you start turning it around. Dropping distractions puts you in a head space that is conducive to improvement. Figure out what you want to become, and don't involve yourself in anything that doesn't take you at least one step closer to that goal. It's not an easy pill to swallow, but you seem to have a great idea of what it looks like to you. So stop theorizing and start practicing.

I think this reddit is a great landing zone for soon to be red pillers. As such, field reports and discussions about how red pill lifestyle intersects with the rest of culture are useful. New members can read these discussions and relate their pre-pill lifestyle and their goal lifestyle to real examples. If you just want a reddit for pickup artist strategy, I think those exist.

So stop giving her attention.

You seem to assume causation when there is correlation. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm curious why you feel that academia causes these beliefs rather than some other influence.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
