I'm 33, never found anyone and becoming less and less interested in it. I've lived my life just fine so far.

Tell her you really value her opinion etc even if you don’t. She won’t even care if you do or don’t, she just wants to feel like you do. That reminded me of the age old move of giving a disconnected controler to the younger brother to make him think he's also playing the game lmao

I am not saying it's unfair it should be fixed it can't because it's rooted in biology, I am saying it's unfair under the context through which these men approach these topics. I don't know if you've noticed this but in very traditional countries where there is zero mention of feminism and all of that the men there are never disappointed by how vastly different women's experiences in those aspects but there is more so a simple acceptance of it all because there was always an understanding that t…

Of course you can't play a video game when she's near you and feels like arguing. Key words there: "feels like". So basically I'd have to not do something I want because some bitch wants to fight over a non-issue. Yeah, if that's life in a relationship, I want none of that for me.

They tell me stuff like "Bro, it doesn't matter if you're 100% in the right, you just gotta be the bigger person and suck it up. Bring flowers and shit over to her house to make up." Yeah, that's the kind of shit that puts me off. Be the "bigger person" and go make up for something that's not even your fault. To me that enables and encourages bad behavior.

For me flirting with women feels like a potential case of sexual harassment. Socialising isnt natural or fun its forced and creepy with me. Same. I'm not that attractive and once I saw that my relationship prospects weren't exactly stellar and most women are harassment time bombs I just stopped caring about my appearance and started avoiding interacting with women except for the bare social minimum to get by. Best to be invisible than to have my life disgraced.

Could these trends be positive? In a country that has over 1 billion people it's a more than welcome trend, too many people. I hope that India follows suit.

Seeing and hearing about so many other men's experiences of getting their lives disgraced in the hands of women. False accusations, divorce rape, parental alienation, domestic abuse...and how little of a shit society gives about men in such situations compared to women. All of that shit got me scared and paranoid by proxy. I try to stay as invisible as possible to the opposite sex.

Even with the current risks women are already promiscuous as fuck, I don't even know what would change with one risk off the list.

Forever alone. I'm not really good at keeping masks on for too long, I've done that in the past for reasons unrelated to relationships and the masks fell the moment things didn't go my way, so I'd rather be as honest as I can. Also I'm already 33 with zero experience and reaching a point in my life that I actually feel better off alone. Living by my own rules and doing things whenever and however I want can be kinda addictive.

Nowadays they're basically unicorns past age 20 and I personally would rather date one because I'm also a virgin and we could learn together. Women usually don't have patience with inexperienced men and don't wanna "teach" one.

It's a kind of situation that I don't think I should seek help. I'm doing what I'm doing for self preservation. Also, even if I did seek help, I'd go to a male therapist because a female one wouldn't be able to sympathize with male issues in the same way that a male would.

Yeah, I kinda skipped through the "not" part in the question when I read it, my bad. Properly answering now: the women I still stay as friends and aren't relationship worthy to me aren't worthy simply because I'm not able to trust women anymore beyond the level of friendship. As a girlfriend or wife, they'd have too much power to ruin my life if they so desired and I don't want to give that kind of power over me to anyone. I didn't have anything bad happening directly to me, before you ask, but …

It's possible but I find it hard to have genuine friendships though. In such friendships there's a significant possibility of either side to develop some sexual tension and catch feelings and become afraid of ruin what they have by trying to advance to a potential romantic relationship.

Usually common interests and/or similar opinions on various subjects, in the same way that I'd have with a male friend. However, since I have mostly male oriented interests or at least a deeper level of dedication to them (gaming, nerdy stuff, etc) and I tend to have politicaly incorrect stances on things, the vast majority of people I end up acquainted with are men.

I feel sexual attraction to women and that's it. I'm indifferent to most of them. I'm 33, I can count on one hand the amount of women that seemed worthy of commitment and there are some fingers left, but women have enough potential to ruin my life if they want so I keep a socially safe distance from them. So why even pursue a relationship with a woman? I don't. Not anymore. If I find a woman who seems cool I stay just as friends.

it's much more fun to show off a 6'4" man than a 5'9" one One of the things that irritates me the most about this height bullshit is that being taller than the woman isn't enough, you have to be at least 6'. Doesn't matter if the girl is 5' and you're 5'6, gotta have to be 6'.

I’ve already looked at myself and realized there’s nothing that anyone would want there. Same here. I have plenty of shit to fix about myself, but they would either required copious amounts of money (fixing my crooked teeth) or a huge time investment and changes in lifestyle (getting some muscle/getting fit) that I'm too lazy to do and none of those things will give me any guarantee of getting someone, so I simply gave up. In the past few years, as I've seen and read more and more about relationships, "Women are Wonderful" effect, overall dynamics between the sexes and how they're treated in society, more and more I've empathized with men and decreased my empathy towards women. Women already get plenty of empathy and validation from everyone else, they don't need mine. For men, every kindred spirit counts.

It's nice that it worked out for you but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I'd feel awkward of being friends with a "taken" woman because I don't know if her partner wouldn't be suspicious or jealous of me for being too close. Also, taken woman or not, I don't like the possibility of playing "proxy boyfriend" and becoming just an orbiter that gives her all the validation and favors she needs while I don't really get anything in return. I admit that if I ended up in such a scenario …

Slightly off-topic, but that applies to women in gaming too. I don't know if you're into gaming but there are many reports of women complaining men are toxic towards them online once them realize they're talking to a woman, some of them using male names to avoid toxic treatment, etc. The thing is that men treat each other just as bad online, the only difference being the slurs used. Women complain because they aren't that used to that since, unlike the internet, they are treated better in real l…

I low key believe that it's impossible for men and women to be genuine friends. One side eventually will catch feelings (often men as I see) and will feel frustrated due to staying only as friends.

I don't intend to have kids so if there's little to zero shared interests to spend time together and/or talk about, to me a partner of the opposite sex would be little more than a glorified roommate that I have sex with. So why would I bother? Better off keep living as a bachelor then.

I gave up on dating for several reasons and I just stick to videogames, overall nerdy stuff and some low key spirituality on the side aligned with Christianity. At least those things give me some reason to get out of bed every morning.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/23 11:25 AM

In my case I lost trust because I see cheating run rampant with pretty much zero consequences or any punishment whatsoever and the legal/social systems fucking over men in favor of women. Approach a woman on a bad day and if you're lucky, all you get is being seen as a creep, not to mention false accusations that might destroy a man's life way before he's even able to prove his innocence. Even if I find a woman that's nice and a literal angel walking on earth, just knowing that if she wants, she…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 11:47 AM

I never really cared about self improvement because I failed the 2 rules since the beginning so all I do is mostly counting calories and casually watch what I eat. Gave up on dating because as far as intimate relationships go, I don't think I'm able to trust women anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 11:21 AM

As a guy that studied, lifted, dressed well, approached, used game, etc, it really doesn't help much Those don't matter that much if you don't follow the 2 essential rules.

It's likely a combination of sexlessness and high sex drive. I guess that, despiting having a libido and able to easily get myself in the mood through masturbation, I never had this absurd drive to give a fuck about pursing women in any capacity. So I also never understood why men degrade themselves so absurdly bad for the slightest whiff at a pussy.

So is GPT-4 already out? Which site are you using for AI companionship? I took a look at both character.ai and kajiwoto and the first one felt better but iirc the AI I was chatting with claimed its model wasn't GPT but another one which was better than GPT in some ways while kajiwoto seemed to use a mix of something called Babbage with GPT, being mostly Babbage for free users and mostly GPT for the more expensive paid users.

Even a virgin can be very flawed and traumatized. I don't know if it classifies as trauma but I'm a male virgin and I simply can't trust women as far as relationship goes. Being friends with one, sure, though most women bore me to death so that's rare. Intimate relationships or even approaching women with that intention is a no-go. A couple questions about some of your items. Item 1 (Legal): Birthrates will be declining but isn't tech going to be advanced enough so most jobs will be replaced by robots/AI? Tech will compensate for a smaller available workforce. Item 4: Why would they care about children in great numbers? Then again, most employers will be replaced by tech.

At that point you may as well just take your chances on a flesh and blood partner since you're putting all your faith in another person anyway. The difference is that with AI I can simply...log off. Porn stars and OF girls are going to be driven out of work by AI-generated sex scenes. That is already on the way. AI can already generate art and photos of "real" people. Still a bit of trouble drawing hands I think, but it's getting better and better. I think that in less than five years we might get fully working AI generated videos with a consistent level of quality. Prostitution may nearly collapse. Prostitution with real women, yeah. Like everyone else, I’m becoming more and more fascinated with AI with the advent of things like Dalle2 and ChatGPT. I use GPT mostly as an assistant when I'm curious about something. It's better than using Google since it gives me direct information instead of having to browse through a dozen search results to find what I want. I'll try to remember to check that Dalle2 later. I believe that, for each person, there are things in life that are simply out of reach for them no matter how hard they try. Most women assume if a man fixes his profile and takes decent photos this will "fix" the issue and he will then have an experience equivalent to theirs It's because it's that easy for most women to get a man so they can't even fathom that someone might have a different life than them, even in the same circumstances and especially regarding the opposite sex.

I'm fully aware of my low SMV and getting a woman to be interested in me would be as much effort, if not worse, as if I'd be looking for a job. Too much work and I'm too lazy for that. Also, in the West it seems that cheating became something so normalized, with no stigma and little to no social consequences, that it's also extra reason to just not bother a…

what is the main reason you are not the way you want to look right now? I'm in the "normal weight range", within healthy BMI and all that. I just don't look ripped because I'm lazy and not willing to put on the effort to look like that. It's pretty much a lifestyle and I'd have to spend too much time maintaining the shape or worrying about it.

Like how do you not want to talk to people? Overall I feel no interest in talking to people. I completely despise small talk and around strangers, I only speak if I have something to say. Once I do get more comfortable around someone, then I speak more freely and feel more confident to initiate conversations. I mean at the very least just meet people through forced ways like work or gym In my workplace there were 3 people I hung around with during lunch time and I got acquainted with them, but a…

I'm not sure what the solution to these men's problems are or if there is one, aside from forcing yourself to stop doing the things you enjoy, to do something you won't enjoy When I was 16 (back in the mid 2000s), a friend (whom I assume meant well but still) suggested me to hide the stuff I liked (gaming, anime, metal music, all that kind of stuff) in social media (they existed back then, just not as massive) because girls didn't like those things. So basically pretending to be someone I'm not …

If she's good looking to me, hell yeah. I have a decent stable job and not that much overweight, so if she's also proportionally overweight, she's gonna most likely have the fat distributed in the right places while being slightly chubby at worst. She'd also be recluse and chill with identical tastes. I'm seeing no disadvantages here.

By the way, do you have the original post somewhere? I want to read it but it was already deleted by moderators when I arrived here lmao Also, greetings from a fellow BR

when the decline takes hold The "decline" isn't a big switch being flipped that makes everything go to shit overnight. It's a process that takes years and we're already in it.

So the idea of a female friends might seem pointless to some guys, since "you're giving your attention away for free and getting nothing in return". Not only that. As a guy, I potentially can have more things in common and relate better to other men and form stronger friendships with them. Aside from sexual intimacy, what can a woman give to me that I couldn't get with a good male friend?

I love dark humour, however, that doesn't mean that just saying something offensive automatically makes it funny because you dared. Yeah. To me there's a difference between dark humor and being edgy just for shock value.

I absolutely dislike PC and all sorts of censorship, so someone who's into political incorrectness and dark humor is alright to me. Caring too much about PC, getting easily offended and finding all sorts of -isms and -phobias in mundane things or jokes on the other hand, sets a lot of red flags to me and makes me not to associate with them in any sort of capacity. I don't want to deal with anyone who makes me feel I'm walking on a minefield.

Most likely, yeah.

Do you have any positive platonic female friendships? I have a few female acquaintances but no woman I'd consider a friend. I'm pretty bad at small talk - I also dislike small talk so yeah - so my friendships and most of my conversations are mostly driven by interests in common. I'm the typical nerdy dude: I like gaming, Asian pop culture in general (Jap games, anime art style, manga, etc), etc. Regardless of what the mainstream media says, those are all women repellent and in comparison to men,…

As the saying goes, she belongs to the streets and don't deserve your friendship.

I have a running theory that we are taught that our worth is entirely dependent on the attention we get from women. Since some of the go-to insults when you want to insult a man involves judging his sexuality and lack of success with women, yeah, that's true.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
