An old truism. It’s much harder to write concisely and short than long rambling stuff. Although there are headers to help guide the reader, the material underneath the headers rambles all over the place. I really had trouble following what you are trying to say.

Great post. Reread several times to burn it into my brain. To remind myself. STFU. Do whatever I’m going to do, verbalizing unnecessary.

Every so often I read a posting in MRP that cause me to take a good look at what I’m doing in my life. This post was one of them. Thanks for it.

Totally agree, build yourself, not find yourself. A man isn’t lost, needing to be found. A man is malleable, shaping himself into the best version of himself that he can be. Dancing works best if the woman is slightly shorter than the man. I once tried lessons with a woman who was 5’4” and I’m 5’11”. It was tough as I had to reach down. My dance teacher told me to go find a partner closer to my height. I did. I’ve found the Latin dances (Salsa, Bachata) are a bit more forgiving with h…

I’ve danced for a number of years, and I agree with the points made. You also must dance at the level of your partner. A good lead quickly determines what his partner can do, and works with it. Bad leads often try showing off, leaving their partner fumbling around. A friend once told me the dance floor is the last bastion of male dominance. There is one lead, and one follow. I’ve had women not follow, which we call back leading. It doesn’t work. When I try dancing with a woman who back leads, I …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
