Self-defense is self-defense. Period.

Yes. If you're a conscious, self-aware being, you are automatically entitled to having an opinion. Full-stop.

Carly Ann Seaman, Meghan Villegas, Kiara Brooke Sherk, Erin Salancy, and Hayley Riena all deserve to be publicly shamed. How dare they. Girls who cried wolf - they deserve anything that happens to them, now.

STARING PERSISTENTLY. Staring persistently. Wow. We might as well start implanting Black Mirror style tech in our eyes at this rate. Fuck this.

Nope, antifeminist. Shockingly enough, there's a difference.

The problem stands: too many people (mainly female in gender) are far too trigger-happy for faulting others for simply looking at them. If you're out in public, you consent to visual observation. It's as simple as that. I know, I know, it's not consent to being touched or even spoken to. But it IS visual consent.

But, you know, it's men's faults for simply LOOKING at someone who's dressed with anatomically-directed clothing, regardless of their age.

Consent as far as anything even remotely physical, I can understand that boundary. Consent as far as anything verbal, it's a bit more of a grey area, but even then, there are societal limits. But consent as far as LOOKING? I'm sorry, that's where it's absolutely bogus. People are visually driven. It's what a pair of working eyes are designed to do. And so if someone doesn't like the fact that they're aware of VISUAL ATTENTION upon themselves, regardless of what they're wearing - well, sorry, but…

F: Buys her daughter, or allows her daughter to buy or wear, revealing clothing. Also F: Gets angry that men are "objectifying" her daughter.

It's her way of "asserting independence" and stating that she's a so-called "strong, independent, fierce, savage woman" while also, literally, drawing attention to her breasts. Hint: the word rhymes with "iconic."

Female gendered people: STOP OBJECTIFYING US! Also female gendered people: I wear this revealing/form-fitting clothing out in public where anyone can see me because I'm comfortable wearing it!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
