| – | Young women are not conflating their RMV with their SMVI’m sure you will achieve that someday 😊 sometimes it is someone who never got to experience any kind of family stability themselves who wants that for their own kids that makes the best partnership if that’s what you want, especially if you had a stable upbringing. If you didn’t have a lot of family support growing up, you can find someone who did who wants a nuclear family like you do, just tell them a little about what you expect. I think my mom felt like the more mature one at the time havin… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/05/24 07:00 AM |
| – | Does Agreeableness Actually Matter? She reminds me a lot of Siobhan Roy on Opposite Day and maybe there is a liberal version of Tom Wombsbaggins behind the scenes. Or a little of Tucker Carlson where I do believe there is some genuine pathos behind the characters they are playing on TV and they believe some part of it, and have this weird lonely rich kid outsider status that makes some things about their animosity towards the world real, but everything they package for the audience is scripted to appeal to the people who will buy … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 07:07 AM |
| 1 | Young women are not conflating their RMV with their SMVMen and women generally assign different value to different things though. My parents have a height difference over a foot and I think my dad finds my mom being petite just as attractive as she finds him being tall. Having inherited my mom’s height I have dated guys anywhere from 5’6 to 6’3 in our 20s/30s and don’t really care because they all seem tall to me. But my dad treats anyone under 6 ft I bring home like a teenager, and I’ve found that a lot of dudes over 6 ft like tiny women they can m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/04/24 08:04 AM |
| 1 | Q4W: Is it common for women to judge the men in their lives based on the type of men they’re attracted to?It sounds like you and your sister may have both grown up as only children or the significantly eldest and have a close sibling for the first time ever as adults reconnecting through your dad. I understand why it’s a bit harder to just write off your new sibling who’s being a jerk but I also understand why you and your mom are frustrated and weirded out. You are lucky to have the mom you do btw! Everyone doesn’t have a parent that astute about what’s normal and healthy and what’s not. My dad has… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/04/22 12:52 PM |
| 2 | The silencing of TRP on Reddit and social media as a whole proves how enormously biased our culture is against males nowReddit is not a place of honor. No highly esteemed deed was commemorated here…nothing of value was lost. What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/04/22 07:03 AM |
| 2 | The abortion argument and why it affects men as wellFrom a lot of what I’ve read that’s gone in depth they call it an effective ban, which means “might as well be” and that is fair because it’s what it is intended to be. Giving someone two weeks tops to schedule an appointment with a specialist of any kind, come up with the money for it, take off work and arrange transit/hotel (because it is a minimum two days of visits) is a tall order especially on the working poor whom this affects the most. The people making these laws will still be getting a… | /r/MensRights | 09/09/21 08:34 AM |
| 2 | The abortion argument and why it affects men as wellBaxtermcsnuggle answered this pretty well but I just wanted to add that it’s already week 4 by the time pregnancy is detectable on a test, and it can be week 5 by the first missed period even within a normal cycle. So even the most diligent only have a week or two to coordinate scheduling of multiple appointments (mandatory ultrasound 24hr in advance in Tx). There are two weeks of gestational age before conception even occurs because it is calculated based on LMP. Six weeks is misleading because… | /r/MensRights | 09/09/21 07:58 AM |
