What I did was looking in the mirror and focusing on the positives. Also hitting the gym helps with your overall self - image.

I did exactly the same last night, went to this amazing dub techno party, all by myself, and oh boy i was killing it.. I was dancing alone for almost an hour, and i knew others are watching me, but didn't care, i couldn't stop, because i really enjoyed the music, it was something different, not that avicii shit which i can hear in every damn party. Eventually people started to join, and i swear to god i heard two girls saying "he is good". they might were talking about the dj tho :D

The girl i was with the first time actually found it to be "cute" and aroused her. I was -- of course -- afraid that she would think i was virgin because i couldn't get laid. (which was true tho) But she was not.
