Because women are equal to men. /S I absolutely hate alimony, either direction. This began back when women were unable to work because they were property. When no one hired women. However, now, women can work. Are working. It's just proves that they do not want equality they want what men have without the work.

It's not just you. Women like me have had a giant Cheshire cat grin for a few years waiting for days like this. I don't think they understand how good and easy women have had it. Want what men have? Sure ask for it....I'll be over here waiting to laugh when those women realize men have been slaving away as those who are replaceable, once they become the same way.

I agree. Us women should be able to get drafted. Only way not to, would be if your husband was and you have kids. 1 parent goes. Taking both would have a possibility of leaving many kids as orphans or homeless.

That would be harsh on people who are disabled, and can't work but want to stay active in politics. Plus, that would knock off almost all women. Forgot where I saw it but women receive more than they pay in their lifetime whereas men pay more into the system than they received. Some of us vote logically and not with our body parts.

As a female, I believe women should be drafted, also. Should be made to follow the same rules and regulations that men do. Want to do a physical job? You better be able to do the work. Not part of it. ALL of it. I find it offensive that these women demand equality, then cry when they're treated equally. Confusing, also. Same way I believe if a woman hits a man first, he should have every right to hit back and defend himself.
