I'm so glad I got raped by a small dick loser with an inferiority complex and then executed the next day. That one night sleeping in a feather bed with silk sheets made it all worth it.

He marries a succession of virgins, deflowers them, and executes them the next day. I'm not convinced anyone would think he's a good guy, or think that the story wants you to think he's a good guy. He's pretty clearly the antagonist of the story.

I'm, uh, pretty sure you're supposed to root for the story-teller and not the execution-happy king. He isn't exactly glorified.

It's been proven there is no God? Please show me the proof Back to the original point, your first comment in this chain said "the mere act of mentioning a biblical story means you're stupid" which is, in a word, stupid

You can't understand why someone would read the bible or reference its teachings, and consider yourself more intelligent than people that do? L oh fucking l

Just because you're just now seeing it doesn't mean it's not ancient. Time isn't subjective.

Yes, missing the correct thing when you're trying to be smug about how smart you are makes you unintelligent. What makes you even more unintelligent is making some absurdly incorrect blanket accusation like "meninists" when the party in question is grammar nazis

In what way is what I said a word salad? Even if the basic premise is wrong, I didn't vomit out unintelligible nonsense. And on the topic of the basic premise being wrong, I guess we're at the classic dichotomy of "are humans fundamentally good or evil?" I believe we're probably fundamentally good, but this breaks down once tribes get too big for proper empathy. Hence, confounding environmental training

I mean being a social creature necessarily requires some base level of decency and respect for members of your species. Deviations from this are probably confounding environmental training or actual mental illness, the former can (theoretically) be prevented and the latter is currently unfixable so telling them to stop being bad people won't really help

Other animals seem to respect their fellow species mates just fine. I'm not convinced that mice #1 need to be warned not to cannibalize other mice and #2 could even express that anyway

It's a warning to people hearing about him

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
