u/lonelyNC123 I am not able to offer advice, but I can offer my solidarity and respect for enduring so long. I am in a similar situation but much earlier, and am considering leaving despite that meaning also not seeing my son anymore. If you were back to when your son/daughter was a toddler, would you do it again?

Let me add to this, that despite being a mother she calls me before dinner to ask if there is something ready for her to eat. If not, she eats at her parents'.

I hear ya brother! I am in a very similar spot with my wife being a big child (except she has a job). Get out before you have kids.
