This is a prime example of how someone in a hate group thinks. The feminist here is incapable of distinguishing between demographics and people (the catch phrase: The personal is political) this includes being unable to distinguish the motives of other women and here own. Compounding this is the zero sum fallacy. That the benefit of one person comes at the suffering of another.

Long story short unlike with Microsoft Windows anything on Linux that isn't a driver (or similar) is a user application. Gnome is one set (out of many options) of applications to provide the title bar of windows, start menu, file browser and other such things. GNOME3 tried and failed at the same goals as Windows 8.

Depends on where you are in the world. Here in NZ most cleaning ads are much shorter and cheaper than others and occasionally show men rather than women. Tui beer ads on the other hand are offensive to men and women alike.

I think the underlying issue that we see often with feminist is that they can't distinguish between feminism and women in general or for that matter with women in general and them selves. In this mindset anything said against feminism or a woman is said against all women. I actually feel sorry for them.

I don't like planning out an ideal world too much since I might get it wrong but it goes something like this: There is no millitary Only people who actually need a collegical eduction go. I don't care if their men or women. People get what they need, plus a little extra, by honest means. Smart people Strong people Healthy people People get the sentances they deserve. No one gets raped Scientist. Anarchy. People have power over them selves, their belongings and young children. Nothing else.

Frankly I think the term equality suffers from the similar problems to the eluseive real feminism. It's a word that sounds nice but ultimately makes it harder to understand exactly what is being said. For example when you say "men and women should be equal" do you mean equal opertunities or equal outcomes?
