OK, so I'm a sales manager and you have what we call a "conversion rate" problem, which is considered one of the better problems to have, because it's easy to identify, and the solution is well within your control. Continuing with the sales analogy, we know (by your number of matches) that there's solid market interest for your product, which is really good news, because that's the hardest problem to solve, most companies that have this problem do not survive. And I'm assuming that you have the …

On the upside, at least you know exactly where you need to improve, right? I hear ya though, if I was putting in that amount of work and only getting one date, I would also consider that a waste of time.

the person on the right doesn't really look like he'd be named Jake. I really hope that's a joke, otherwise that's possibly the stupidest thing I've heard today. And OP doesn't say "don't have other people in your picture", he specifically says "Don’t have a profile picture where its hard to tell who you are in the picture", which is essentially what you proceed to say, so what exactly are you disagreeing with here?!

In context it certainly might, but in a general sense it could just mean "I'm not the partying type".

You don't have to spend a dime to get laid or have fun. A walk in the park and some friendly conversation, make dinner and watch a movie at your place. Do you not enjoy talking to girls? They're just people, there's no extra effort required, its all mental. And if you enjoy talking to interesting girls, you will have to eventually approach girls to find out if they're interesting, right? What am I missing?

The only potential problem with this mentality is that it can be used as a perfect excuse to not put yourself out there and face real rejection. I'm not saying that describes you or OP, but I've known many guys who say very similar things to their friends and themselves to cover for their fear of approaching/rejection, and the only people they end up convincing is themselves, to their own detriment.

This idea refers to guys who are always smiling and nodding mand laughing at everything the girl says. They know they're not THAT funny and interesting, so it comes off as fake or desperate, like you need their approval or their company, and that's unattractive. Have you ever known a guy who having just met you, already liked you a little too much, agreed and laughed at everything you said, would obviously do anything for you if you asked? Did you feel a little uncomfortable around that person? …

I think using decimal points is a little ridiculous, from what I recall, the HB scale was originally intended to represent the level of challenge, not just an attractiveness rating, which is why it doesn't need to be classified or precise, it's relative. For example, you have a group of girls out for a birthday, all cute and well dressed, they are all HB8 in this scenario, except for the birthday girl, who has a tiara and is currently the centre of attention, she is promoted to HB9 tonight becau…

To clarify, it's not that cheating is "okay" in this sub, it's just that relationship status is not relevant to improving approaching/seduction ability, which after all is the whole purpose of this sub. Some people here are strongly against sleeping with women who are in a relationship, others see it as the woman's choice to make, all opinions are welcome, just keep it relevant/helpful to the post. It's a little like saying "Eating meat is okay in this sub? lol jesus fucking christ." in a post a…

Strong emotions can be addictive and are known to create strong attraction, and not just the "feel good" emotions, in fact it seems to be the rollercoaster of positive and negative emotional experience that has the strongest effect.

Fuck 3month goals, it's too easy to procrastinate, you need daily goals. Challenge yourself to make small talk with a cashier at a store tomorrow. Challenge yourself to smile at 5 attractive women on the street the next day. Etc.

If she's going home with you, you should already be making out and escalating while leaving the bar, in the cab home, in the doorway, push her up against the wall, show her that you couldn't wait to get your hands on her, you don't need to be smooth, just don't let it get awkward. If you're doing this right, she'll be as ready as you are by the time you get in the door, you can playfully push/pull her towards your bedroom, undressing her (and you) along the way.

Definitely, just not to the same extent, because our attraction is overwhelmingly visual, whereas women's attraction is heavily influenced by emotion and perception. I met a cute girl traveling over the holidays, she was a "natural" at this type of game, so while she wasn't the hottest girl in the group, she quickly built this playful relationship between us, we would neg and tease each other, exchange looks across the room, we had our own inside jokes (some dirty), to the point where I wanted t…

if she flirting with multiple guys then she is not really into you. Disagree, very often girls who are interested in me will flirt with other guys in my vicinity, sometimes very obviously, and sometimes guys they are not even interested in.. it's a little game to get your attention, show you they are in demand, try to make you show more interest in them, win them over.. It's pretty harmless, guys do it too, I often purposefully start talking to a girls friend to see if she tries to win me back..…

We could look at removing link-posts entirely, and only allowing links within text-posts as reference for discussion. I think this would keep more traffic within r/seduction by not immediately directing people towards other blogs, should also increase original content in posts, and facilitate more discussion in our comments.

Regardless of your gym routine, yes, lots more protein, your body will need it! The 5x5 programs appear similar to what I'm doing, instead of trying to isolate all those different muscles using different types of weights and machines and movements, concentrate on a few simple lifts that work multiple major muscle groups together, like squats and bench presses.

Agreed, also, beginners should expect to be sore the next day, or even for a couple days, that's normal, that's how you know your muscles are rebuilding. If the muscles you've targeted are not at least a little sore the day after your workout, you should be using more weight. I wish someone had explained that to me when I was starting, I wasted months trying to work the muscles without being sore the next day, made very little gains. Obligatory notes: -You should never be in pain during the work…

Regardless of her intentions, if a girl asks you to buy her a drink, wouldn't you always be better to have a little fun with it first? Think about it. If she is using "buy me a drink?" as a friendly conversational opener, returning with playful banter about buying drinks keeps the conversation flowing and provides opportunities to tease/joke/etc while you have her full attention. Alternatively, if she is only looking for a free drink, and not interested in playful conversation with you, this wil…

I think this "instinctual" conversation is irrelevant here anyways. If she is using "buy me a drink?" as a friendly conversational opener, returning with playful banter about buying drinks keeps the conversation flowing and provides opportunities to tease/joke/etc while you have her full attention. Alternatively, is she is only looking for a free drink, and not interested in playful conversation with you, this will become quickly apparent. So regardless of her intentions, if a girl asks you to b…

Again, I completely agree with this part; talk about your awesome hobbies that you're passionate about and disagree with this part; that only rich people can participate in You're defending the first part that I agree with, not the second part that I disagreed with. IMO, an exclusively rich activity would be something like driving Lamborghinis in Monaco, and I don't see how you can possibly talk about something like without sounding braggy/pretentious to the average person, so I don't see why yo…

I find Facebook 'friending' useful for expanding social circle and being aware of good parties/events, but that's about it. No, not the same, doesn't matter whether you're 16 or 35, get her number! Facebook says "let's be friends maybe", or worse, "let me just creep you from a safe distance". Asking for her number says "I'm interested in spending time with you".

How is this a top post? While this is not terrible advice for guys who are clueless on compliments, there's significantly better content in the sidebar, this is beyond beginner. Given that, why so many upvotes in so little time? And why are all the critical comments being quickly downvoted? Suspicious.

In the military, what you have described could be a desired effect of jargon. And that could be true in some other situations. However, in many other situations, most other situations, I don't think that's true at all. For example, the purpose of IT jargon (I'm an IT consultant) is not to indoctrinate or separate, it's not to identify each other, it's not a secret handshake, it's not any of these things, not at all. When speaking or emailing with other technical people, using tech jargon simply …

Most posters also seem to forget that women are individuals and do not all act exactly the same. I see what you mean, and would agree that this subreddit often generalizes women, that's because the subreddit is not about women, it's really about men. It's a subreddit for male self improvement. I really don't believe that posters forget that women are individuals, rather, I think it is often useful to generalize women (as well as situations) in this subreddit in order to focus on the technique in…

is Kino really a necessary term for "touching"? I see what you mean, but consider that all interest groups have jargon. Might as well ask a group of wine enthusiasts if 'bouquet' is really a necessary term for 'smell'. I can elaborate on the usefulness of jargon if you like.

They also misunderstand what being nice is about. Also, something that has been said better by others, being "nice" to a girl usually involves not being completely honest about your intentions. For example, there's nothing nice about having a girl convinced that you're just her friend, and then only making a move on her when she's vulnerable and expecting friend-like support from you.

Agreed. For example, I was in Vegas last year for a conference, needed some breakfast, walked into the nearest sports bar, bartender was the only person working, and she was hot, so naturally I seat myself at the bar. Took a few seconds to realize she was in a bad mood, so I keep my order very simple, no questions, polite smile and a thanks, turn my attention to ESPN. Then I overhear her with another table, who were being annoying and lacking manners, so I grab a pen and napkin, write "corner ta…

The situation might dictate the approach, are you at a bar, a house party, other? Also, simple inner-game theory always applies, what value can you bring to the group, why should they include you? More practically, do you know some girls that you can invite over, know the bartender/bouncer/DJ/owner, or a good after-party? I might target one or two of them, maybe when they hit the bar, make some funny observations, some jokes, say something ridiculous, just get them laughing, then ask them to int…

I'm reminded of a quote from 'Blow', where George (as a kid) is walking out of the bank with his father; George: "Are we gonna be poor? Cause I don't ever want to be poor." Father: "Then you won't." EDIT: This was not simply a father offering comfort to his son, he was talking about priorities, and was spot on.

Among others, the "hard drug use" line is funny and versatile. I often use the variant "meth is a hell of drug" (thanks Chappelle), best followed by a quick smile and a casual random change of topic.

Consider expanding to something like "what made it a good day, did someone say/do something that made you laugh/smile?" This has the added potential of getting her to smile or laugh.

Ah, I had actually prepared for that, and successfully pre-countered with this: "Oh, and I know what you're thinking, it's totally not porn, I saw this movie at the Toronto Film Festival, won a bunch of awards, really funny, watch" Not only did this work both times, but, the second girl actually made a joke about "oh, that's too bad, haha".

She wants plausible deniability, and you give that to her by being alpha, taking control of the situation, being confident and forward. As a thought exercise, imagine the conversation she will have with her female friends the next day: "I'm not a slut, I didn't plan on sleeping with him, it just happened, he got me so turned on, really knew what he was doing, hahaha, etc!" The idea is to appear so confident and so natural in the transition from couch to bed that she WANTS to be a part of what's …
