Yeah thats why goal shouldnt be something that you purely do to feel good. A goal like helping others or leaving whatever legacy you desire goes beyond if u are having a bad day/feeling shit or what not. Attaining a wife as a goal is purely to make yourself feel good the same way chasing a high would be. Same goes a bit for kids but later on overpopulation will be a problem and the option to have children like now might not be the case in some generations time

Lift lift lift, know your worth, dont let yourself get stepped on, dont bust someones balls without expecting retaliation, gain skill (in whatever you want to), dont be afraid to lose others, dont step over yourself for others, dont cut off relationships because of insecurities, better yourself for yourself, dont be afraid to have worries, dont be afraid to be afraid. Get out there and take on what problems life throws at you, in time and with experience you will find out that you have become wh…

I am not older but I can still give some perspective. My parents were happy (I assume) and got kids early on, they stayed married due to wanting a two-parent relationship for their kids. My parents got a nice house, new car, long marriage, all they were told would lead to happiness, yet you can see they are miserable if you go beyond the whole facade. Human beings are capable of being happy without kids, maybe some people dont feel like they are truly living their life, so they need kids in order to give it meaning and «super happy life» is no such thing, your brain woul…

there is no «true love» obviously. Whatever u feel is exclusive to yourself and only happening inside your brain (serotonin release etc). We are not bluetooth devices going around and pairing

realize that whatever u feel for her is just a chemical dump inside your brain, no «wireless connection» between u two. Ur brain can give u that same chemical dump from whatever girl meets ur criteria. Basicly: Dont matter if u want beer or wine, alcohol is the thing u actually addicted to, which in this case is serotonin

u dont need kids to be happy? Maybe she thinks she needs kids for her to be happy but how would she know better than u?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
