She looks like Devine from John Water's Pink Flamingos....

And then she frames her whole pity spiel as though it's about the child or some higher understanding of genetics.

Totally agree. And maybe he did want it. Or thought he did. Which is why we assume people that young can't make fully informed decisions.

Just because you'd like it doesn't mean someone else would. Dude might not be old enough to understand what he did and might not even regret it but the point is, it's wrong.

Depends on the person. If it's my wife I'd say something more like "let's both have a water, we've been overindulging". If it's a buddy I'd ask if they've thought about changing their diet. If it's an acquaintance, I'd probably just say nothing.

Ya it's no different than telling the drunk guy to slow down on the booze, or the crazy driver to slow down his speed. Poor diets kill and disable way more people too.

A lot of these large humans think you can be healthy while employing a 30+ BMI. which is ridiculous, obviously. And they all say healthy at any size which is the most double speak desperate shit ever.

Apologize for what? Not accepting baseless statements from half-wits who try to bolster their ridiculous statement by googling exactly the phrase they are looking for and linking the first thing they find without reading it?

Ya, listening to your old man's tapes in his garage working on a car with your brother is like the coolest tribute I can think of. Regardless of what kind of man he was, any son is going to have some feelings about his father's death. This woman was completely selfish and obviously doesn't reflect on her own behaviour or thought process.

The heat changes the velocity of sound through the steel though so you would have to calibrate your thickness meter to a cal block that's at the same temp. Edit: just wanted to sound smart. I just started with UT last month.

Ya man, years ago I ended up having sex with a friend of mine a few times and it was like now she expected sex any time she wanted. Like would show up at my apartment door when I was asleep buzzing me and not leaving until I let her in. It got really annoying. So I married her and now she doesn't pressure me for sex anymore.

I woke up pretty wasted one night and a gay dude had his hand down my jeans. I just slurred a fuck off and passed back out. The next morning I couldn't figure out why my pants were unbuttoned and unzipped when I aways just unzip when I pee. It all clicked at breakfast and I told him if he wasn't such a skinny bitch I'd knock him right out for being a rapist. His reply: eh you liked it. Even my friends were like calm down man. Everyone thinks if you're 225 lbs and a guy rape doesn't apply or some…

I'm with ya on this one. This is just two people escalating a situation. I'd really like to see this sub move away from "woman gets hurt" to "self-entitled woman realizes what equality really means".

I'd even go as far as to say, prefer whatever the hell you want. If you like 7' dudes only, awesome. But then don't be so disillusioned that you can't understand why people prefer something other than you.

True enough. There should be a common sense class at the high school level that teaches life skills. Basic home and vehicle repair, taxes and retirement planning, dealing with police and courts, budgeting your expenses, those sort of things. I know this is a little beyond the scope of this video, it just gets to me that I know people who have masters degrees and yet work at a retail store, and have no concrete skills.

Continue questioning the real motives behind reddit comments my friend. Your powers are uncanny. If I wanted to insult these girls I'd be a bit more forthright about it. I'd say something about their lack of understanding of simple daily tasks or insinuate that their last brain cells were consumed by trying to remember if they took their birth control that morning, and I wouldn't bring the state of education as a whole into it. Truth is, I was using this video as an example to a larger picture p…

Except it's exactly what I said. (There's) no practical learning in education. You interpreted it all weird. Granted, it was a pretty broad statement for interpretation but don't pretend that how things may occur to you are how they are intended.

Those are required skills for life. And I'm often awestruck at the lack of basic skills that some people have, despite going to school for 20 or more years of their lives.

Well it's neat to know how to analyze a sonnet or the stages of zygote development- I was making a statement that in education (especially 'higher' learning) there is not a lot of room for practical learning. Doesn't really matter if it's arts or science. My comment that they likely have degrees was not putting down higher education or these girls themselves, but more saying that you can have well educated people that lack common sense or simple skills that are pretty necessary in day to day lif…

What's not cool? That people pay thousands per year for education but don't learn practical skills like how to properly deal with banks, change oil or tires, or defensive driving? My first degree was actually a bachelor of arts so I can speak first hand on how useless it is.

I look on the opposite side of the 'had to' excuse. You don't have to do anything but breath eat and sleep. Everything else comes down to choice. For me, red pill extolls the virtue of taking responsibility for the entirety of your life. Your emotions, your failures, your social circle, etc, are all results of your own choices. Weakness stems from an inability to see your own involvement in your own life. Thought your comment was a good launch pad for this. Thanks.

My buddy was asking for some help getting his game in order. I think he was looking for the perfect one line or something, but I went into evolution and psychology of the sexes and severely offended him. I realized that even though he wanted to be a player, he wasn't ready to shed his fairy tale notions. I guess people are highly invested in their understanding of the world, and trying to get past that is like arguing science with a southern preacher.

It's easy to say this after the fact, but that's one of those reasons I have voice recorder on my quick unlock screen. Hit record, ask a few questions about her plan, seemingly as an interested white knight. Then get his name. Do not tell her. Tell him. This got me riled up so I'm sorry about the typical "well, I would do this."

Nobody makes anybody feel anything. My emotions are a result of my own perceptions and experiences and since I have self control, I am the one who makes me feel things. I can also choose how I respond and deal with said emotions.

It's funny that those options make up a small percentage of the population, yet are presented (to the child) as being major, real, 'options' or outcomes of the child's sexuality. It presents a skewed view of what's actually out there, and may even result in feeling unwanted if he does indeed turn out straight (which is statistically most likely).
