There is definitely that... but it seemed like it went a little beyond just friendly waitress. For instance, she wasn't working the floor today, she was behind the counter. She had no reason to be near the door when I left. Besides, even if I was riding there with training wheels on. It was good practice.

Great FR, very interesting. I'm starting to see that to be successful at this game, I'm probably best off not devoting myself to one method or script, but instead knowing the mechanism behind all these methods and getting to the point conversationally where I know when to use what. Currently on day 6 of stopping with fapping and porn. I don't think it's a problem in most cases, but for me it was getting to the point where it wasn't really that exciting, just something I did every night or morning. I've had the same thought about that opener but I needed something canned to use and had a lot of anxiety about using something from the books and having the girl say "Oh I've heard that one before." Lately I've been using more situation openers, but I'm not trying to run game, just get used to talking to strangers.

We feel your pain. In my experience, the only possible way to escape the friend zone is to turn your back on her and start playing the field aggressively, even better recruit her to be your wing. Oh no, I know I'm totally to blame. I was just happy that opening was working and then my brain locked.
