Mutual infidelity in a 13-year marriage, trying to figure out where to go from hereWhile your intuition may be accurate, this is a mens support group. Your comments are not welcome here. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/26 11:45 AM
Providing social media login for discovery?I was asked for all my social media accounts as well as transcripts of all messages I had sent and received for three years. I flatly refused to give it out as it was a violation of privacy for the people I was communicating with. I received one threat from them to "stop playing games or else.' I still refused and never heard anything else on the matter. Discovery is technically optional in a divorce. Both sides ask each other for stuff. It's only required if it's a subpoena. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/01/26 09:06 PM

Divorce Plunged in Kentucky. Equal Custody for Fathers Is a Big Reason Why.Why is half the article that's supposed to be about father's rights talking about domestic violence? DV isn't hard to prove. If someone is struggling to prove it maybe it's not DV. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/09/25 05:13 PM
Second divorce has broken meYou have tried the conventional advice. Now try the unconventional. Book a trip to Medellin Colombia for at least a week. Hook up with at least a dozen girls. Have threesomes, hire hookers, live a life of luxury with your American dollars that go so far down there. It will change your perspective on life in general for the positive. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/08/25 03:52 PM
| -2 | Not attracted to women my own age…I don't see the "creep" thing at all. We all have preferences. There are women in their twenties who only like to date older men. They aren't labeled creeps. There are older women who only like to date younger men, they are only called cougars not creeps. Men who have a preference that isn't illegal isnt creepy. It's just a preference. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/03/25 07:56 PM |
Not attracted to women my own age…Every guy is "all horny up over 25 year olds" just like women are horny up over the same thing. Its normal and natural. Let's not kid ourselves about that. If it's a legal adult there is no issue. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/03/25 06:55 PM
DiscoveryDiscovery is kind of voluntary. However, if the stbx lawyer thinks you are holding out, they can subpoena you. What you can do in this situation is turn over the documents but redact the name of the person it's sent too claiming that it is personally identifiable information of people not related to the case and you want to maintain their privacy. By doing this, you have shown a good faith effort to comply with discovery and that stbx lawyer will have a lot harder time getting a subpoena approve… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/03/25 02:47 AM

Can’t forget my wife’s words…You saw her true colors when she is hurt and cornered. People present themselves much more like the ideals they want to believe in when times are easy and good. But when times are bad, when they are in pain, you see their base self come out. My ex pulled out all the stops to take me for everything I was worth even though there was nothing horrible in our marriage to call it off for. No cheating. No abuse. I just found no happiness anymore so I called it off. Not wanting to be with her was the gr… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/07/24 11:30 PM

Wounded HusbandDid....did you just come to the divorce_men subreddit and ask a question for the ladies? 👀 But also yes. Humans fuck. It just happens. Marriage is an antiquated, outdated, 2000 year old concept that has failed to evolve specifically with increased human lifespans. It was great when you would get married at 15-16 and expect to only live till you were 25. It's just not that way anymore. Today, 57% of marriages end in divorce. That's not accounting for all the marriages that stay together in name o… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/10/23 04:20 PM
I messed upThat is an unrealistic expectation for her to have if you two didn't agree to it before marriage. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/05/23 06:59 PM
As a woman who finds herself dating a lot of divorced men, what should I ask to gauge if he is in a healthy place mentally for dating post divorce? What should I watch out for?Ask him how he feels about his ex. If he can't point to a specific and credible reason for absolutely hating her and still talks crap then he probably isn't in a good mindset. But if he speaks almost longingly about her from time to time, he isn't over her and that's a bad sign. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/23 11:29 PM
Men, Marriage and Michelle ObamaChoose to be grateful? Naw brah. It's the patriarchy personally fucking them over at that point. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/12/22 10:33 PM
Men, Marriage and Michelle Obama80% of women believe they are in the top 5% of women and thus deserve a top 1% guy. When they inevitably can't find one, they subconsciously settle, thinking they will "change" him into what they want. When that inevitably fails, reality sets in, they hate it but realize there is nothing better waiting for them. Sometimes they stick around and treat him like shit other times they leave and never find anything better. I'm not saying guys are blameless in this but from just looking at the female s… | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/12/22 09:06 PM
To those who got divorced and had to live together untill the house sold. What's your best advice? If relations have soured to the point you think she might try something, record every interaction you have with her so she can never claim domestic violence on you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/22 08:10 PM
