When I say "physical", I don't mean that it's anything near punching her in the face or anything. I just mean that it's an unnecessary retaliation. I mean, let's reverse the genders: A guy calls a lady fat, gets a drink poured on him. Either way, it's a bigger reaction than is necessary. I see where you're coming from, and I agree for the most part. All that I was saying is that it was a bit too much. Especially when the first wrong is just verbal while the second wrong is physical. Had she gotten a talking-down or just a "please don't say that", I'd be more on board.
