It's "tagged" as a women's rights issue. Similar situation with Cassie Jaye when she was submitting The Red Pill to film festivals. Men's issues are discussed so little they don't have a predefined category for it, so it defaults to women's rights.

Are you referring to this? It's an academic article about law in Islamic countries, it was published in the Houston Journal of International Law. Breitbart tried to frame it as him writing about his own beliefs when it was about jurists in Islamic states and how they interpret religious law. I've actually been debating with a feminist on /r/FeMRADebates about this. She brought up a notable similarity between Sharia Law and religious traditions of Christianity and Judaism, and how westernized Muslims tend to practice their own moderate version of Sharia Law. Because it's setting unreasonable goals that women don't identify with. In the 1980's, feminists said 1 in 4 women are rape victims. In modern times, they're saying 1 in 5 women are rape victims. Is this a colossal failure in feminism to affect change? Or do these women needing feminism's rape advocacy not exist?

I haven't been active in a while so I can't speak to that firsthand. Maybe the irrational passion is growing as the community gets bigger? Especially since The Red Pill started blowing up. In any case, I think offering a reasoned perspective will do good even if it's not popular.

I wouldn't worry too much, people tend to get overly passionate about social issues and stop thinking clearly. It's a problem in any activist community, you can find examples of it here prior to a year ago. It only a serious problem when the activist leaders stop thinking clearly, and we have Karen Straughan on board. (Not that the irrationality shouldn't be called out though.)

He probably would have gone further, I agree. What he did was reprehensible, but we don't charge or convict people for things they might have done, we charge them for what they actually did. Well, he was charged with attempted rape. I agree what the witnesses saw is relevant to a degree.

Please watch this video about the controversy and the anti-SJW community's response. Relevant fact here is his channel was supportive of men's issues and acknowledged their existence. Just understand what happened before passing judgment, certain high profile individuals in the community did not.

Blacks don't commit more crimes. Blacks are arrested and convicted on more crimes. Blacks commit more crimes but they're also more poverty stricken. Socioeconomic status accounts for the majority of the racial gap. Plus the gender gap, but between race in gender, it's mostly on gender.

She's already sympathetic to some men's issues. She's spoken about women raping men and did a well-researched video about circumcision. They should know that statistically, men and women hold similar views on abortion. So by only acknowledging women's opinions, they aren't changing the playing field in favor of pro-choice, they're only silencing the views of pro-choice men and validating the views of pro-life women. Since most people tend to imagine men as the majority of homeless individuals But nobody recognizes it as a gender issue, they're ok with the stats being unequal.
