I disagree with you. I think that we can cultivate character traits to make ourselves more attractive, we don't have to resort to a victim mentality. Instead of comparing yourself to other people and feeling inferior, it's more effective to learn from them. Find out what it is that they do to attract people and then incorporate that in your interactions. Personally, I'm more interested in men who have the personality traits of an ambitious individual. That doesn't mean he has to be rich, I think…

Hey, no need to get all passive-aggressive about it. I realized my error and went back and corrected myself. So I make mistakes, I'm human. Sue me. You've never worded something poorly or made a mistake in your life? I posted this not long after: ~ You know, I thought about it and I kind of want to redefine my answer a little bit. Personally, I am very much attracted to ambitious, intelligent guys- but that doesn't mean that all girls or even most girls are. It depends on the person. For some gi…

Race is pretty irrelevant to most girls. Stop seeing yourself as an Asian guy and instead see yourself as just a guy (who happens to be Asian). Some white girls are totally into Asian guys, it's just that most Asian guys are too scared to approach them so they assume they're not into them.

Wha? Really. Forget that, she's the one with the bad attitude. I'm a girl and I think she's the one who's out of line. Just cut your losses and find a girl who's secure enough that she won't mind if you poke a little fun at her. If she freaks out on you over something so small, you'll have to be constantly walking on eggshells with her in the future. Now, that being said- I don't think you should ever be a jerk, but I don't think you came off as a jerk. That was just a small jest. Maybe you woul…

You know, I thought about it and I kind of want to redefine my answer a little bit. Personally, I am very much attracted to ambitious, intelligent guys- but that doesn't mean that all girls or even most girls are. It depends on the person. For some girls, ambition and intelligence aren't very important. Or sometimes a girl will like a guy SO much that she overlooks his flaws. I'm probably projecting my personal preferences onto the female population at large. There are always outliers and except…

Hey, I'm a girl and I just wanted to pop in with some perspective. You don't have to be incredibly rich or successful to attract girls, you just have to be ambitious. Most girls who hold themselves in high esteem won't find it attractive if you are working a minimum wage job your whole life. Sorry, but that's the truth. You might find some girls who will be attracted to you regardless, but they probably don't have very high standards themselves. That being said, I have a friend who graduated wit…

no prob. I'm sympathetic to you guys. Generally, it's tougher to win us over, but the world is a pretty boring place for us women when all we get is guys who have no idea what they are doing. I'm just trying to impart a little wisdom to help you guys out. Most people are so trapped in their own way of thinking, that they can't put themselves in another person's shoes and understand why they behave the way they do. Personally, I like guys who are more in the middle of the spectrum. They're not pu…

My parents can be pretty hard on me, I get depressed because I feel like I can't live up to their expectations. And no, I don't have a "great boyfriend or whatever." I do have friends, but I don't tell them about my personal problems. I tend to keep them bottled up. Well, why don't you reach out to people? I'm not saying you should go around and tell them all your personal problems right off the bat, but why don't you just try making friends with people who have similar interests? Maybe you're j…

Oh, please. You don't know anything about me either. I struggle with depression as well, but I don't go around angrily blaming the world for my problems. Maybe the reason you are isolated is because you are pushing people away with your antisocial behavior. It's not healthy to isolate yourself. What exactly do you get out of writing stuff like this? Are you looking for sympathy or attention or a reaction? Do you want help? If you don't want help, then why are you posting? Does it make you feel b…

Look kid, why don't you do something about it? Women don't owe you anything. We like guys who are going to add value to our life, not whine and complain and feel entitled to stuff. Nobody likes a crybaby. You can either learn from your failures or wallow in them. And looks aren't everything, I know of some pretty unfortunate looking people who are very happily married. Why don't you stop being selfish and focusing on yourself so much and instead focus on how you can add value to those around you…

"Read The Art of Seduction." I second that. It's a great read.

I'm very much straight, haha. But I like helping the guys out, because we need more men in this world who understand women. And I really appreciate that they are trying to improve, most guys are too lazy or stubborn to really learn. At the moment there isn't anyone who can hold my attention long enough that I'd want to seduce, but I'm always reading up on this stuff because it's so interesting and maybe one day I'll come across a guy who I think will be interesting enough to really go toe to toe…

Hi, I'm a girl visiting in. Everything this guy ^ said about the super nice guys and the cocky wannabe guys is on point. Also, I just wanted to add- beautiful girls DO get insecure in that the guys chasing her are only chasing her for her looks. They don't actually want to get to KNOW her, they just want to win her. She's not dumb, she knows that she's more or less a trophy. That's why she falls for the guy who treats her like a normal person, because he sees beyond her appearance and doesn't tr…

Why don't you just acknowledge it, smirk at her, turn away, and engage in a casual conversation with one of your guy friends. Brush it off like it's nothing. If you do the same thing and flirt with another girl in front of her right after she pulls that, she will think you're just doing it as a jealous reaction. But if you acknowledge it and brush it off like it's nothing, she'll see you as more of a challenge. She'll think, 'what? he's already over me?' and she'll try to capture your attention …

Hi, I'm a girl, but I read up a lot on seduction. I'm not an expert or anything, but hopefully I can give another perspective. I'm not going to say that looks are completely irrelevant. Looks definitely do factor in, but I think that a person can become so intuitively good at seduction that they become irrelevant. In the Art of Seduction, one of the seducers mentioned was Gabriele D'Annunzio- who was ugly and bald, yet he was extremely successful with women; he would even seduce them away from t…
