While it's true diet is the primary factor of weight loss, it's impossible to primarily target fat for weight loss without significant exercise, specifically strength exercise. Does anyone expect anything different? A cheating husband would typically do the same thing. Cheating is typically about sex and excitement for both genders with women doing it for slightly more emotional reasons on average. Expecting a real relationship to bloom out of an affair is like expecting to stick you hand in shit and find a gem -- it's certainly possible but you should set realistic expectations.
