Agreed. I'm an Ironworker and we have plenty of women in the trade, plus I see lots of women in different trades on job sites. I also have guy friends who can't change a fucking tire. But I respect them equally because people tend to have a knack for certain things, and there's nothing wrong with that. Those same guys who can't change a tire would probably get a kick out of seeing me try to use Excel or try to give a sales pitch.

It definitely helps to be on it for me, but I agree with your opinion on it. The worst part is the effect on my sex drive. How did your withdrawal go?

I see. I just wanted to throw out a caution... I was not expecting the withdrawal symptoms I experienced, and wouldn't wish that on anyone else. Unlike me, you've done your homework.

What are you taking, if you don't mind me asking? I tried quitting Citalopram about a year ago, and I kind of started losing my shit. I hear it takes six months to get over the withdrawal.

That's what I was gonna ask. Good shit.

Is it face or body acne? I remember reading a thread on here that said if you slept with a freshly washed towel on your pillow, it almost miraculously heals acne. I think the other guys on here will also point out how approaching has to do with inner game, not how physically attractive you are.

Just be the cool, laid back guy who kind of laughs at the idiots who go around trying to convince everyone (including themselves) that they're badass. You've got quality and you know it... you're definitely gonna find some girls who want a down to earth type of guy to show them a good time.

Try to be as aware of your motives when interacting with people. When you notice a sense of frustration or anxiety, that can be a fear of coming across differently than how you would like. Disregard this fear, and try to just let your personality flow. It's tough, but the key is to be aware of it without thinking about it. And like you said, it's not something you can fix overnight, but I bet you'll see an improvement pretty quickly.

She "feels bad for what (she) said" and thinks you're "almost too nice"... I'm not entirely sure what's motivating her to change her mind, but if I had to guess I'd say it has more to do with validation than anything else. I'd probably tell her I'm not interested.

It's not about making yourself delusional... it's about realizing the truth that you are capable of being whoever you want. That's why internal game is the most important thing ever. You will always do better when you're telling yourself that you're capable, as opposed to telling yourself that you're a loser.

I think the point is that if you think of yourself as a loser, you're going to continue to make decisions that fit that idea of yourself. Success breeds success, as they say. That being said, you should also definitely work to improve things about yourself that you don't like or see as shortcomings.

Being distant definitely won't help your cause at all. She sees this and thinks you're reacting like a chump, or that you're desperate and/or clingy. You should have acted cool about it, and not sent more than one text if she didn't respond. It sounds like you missed your window. I could be wrong about that, but you don't stand to gain anything by being aloof... if anything, she will think you're being childish. Big turnoff.

The first couple of times that this happened to me, I was polite back, but also wondered what they wanted from me, which turned out to be nothing of course. So now I try to initiate eye contact with random people, and if they seem receptive I'll say "hi" or "how's it goin". It really does have a surprising effect on how good I feel.

I think your question should be "How do I approach the next girl I'm interested in?"

So, wait.... was he trying to pick up you and your gf for a foursome?

2 summers ago? And you've talked about it online? You really need to give up on it. She's not interested in you, and probably never was.

Yeah, I've been kind of putting off talking to this girl because I didn't want to have to deal with Valentine's Day. We went on a date, and had sex the next night, so I plan to get a hold of her again. I hope it's not too late at that point... it's been a couple weeks haha.

I'd say if nothing else, put your time to use on other things. You don't have to spend all of your time going out sarging.... Plus all the ways that you improve yourself help your game. I'm not a PUA at all by the way, just thought this might be practical advice.

I don't see why you give a shit about this guy. Just ignore him... you sound like a bit of a bitch yourself if you're so worried about another guy's business. In my opinion, you should ignore him unless he puts his hands on you again, in which case you should beat his ass.

Just be cool... have a smile on your face and act like you normally would. Don't let her think you're sweating her.

I had to google that to see what it meant, which resulted in me reading a pretty cool short story. The meaning didn't even come up 'til the end, but it was worth the read.

Yeah, she insulted him. But when you compare his intelligence level with hers, and her (attempted) insult with his, it would be like telling a little kid "Yeah, I look like a butt-face? Your mom is on welfare and you don't know who your dad is." He knew how dumb this woman is, and he didn't really need to get personal. I kind of cringe watching her act like she didn't hear what he said. I think there's some kind of coping mechanism where you completely block out something when it's really hurtfu…

"I'd beat the end of that line" That kind of implies that not only would she be in line for him, but she would be willing to wait the longest. She's a simpleton, and she got owned by him because she's the type of idiot who goes to Dr. Phil and slings lame insults at the bad guy. .... that's not to say that the guy wasn't being a douche. *Edit- In hind sight, the guy's really not a douche, he just lays it on really thick. Although I think he was a little too harsh with the insult.

I use Firefox, and I put the icon for it in my "unused desktop items" folder. When people ask to use my computer, I just tell them to use Opera or Chrome. Not that I have much to be embarrassed about when it comes to what I look at, but I really don't feel like explaining shit to people.

If you're not into older women, don't go for them. This thread is about guy's who are into older women, or at least how to go for them. Plus, I would recommend that you try an older woman... go for about forty. You might cringe at the idea, but I would guarantee she would show you some shit. How old is the oldest woman you've been with?
/r/seduction21/08/10 09:20 AM

What could possibly be wrong with it? You want sex, and the old woman wants sex. If you are attracted to her, and she to you, then I can't think of a single thing bad about it.

I took home an older women once (she was 45, I was 25), but I honestly didn't really even try that hard. It was one of those fish-in-a-barrel situations. From what I've heard, older women are typically a lot more direct, and if they're a couple decades your senior, just flirting and laying it on thick can do the trick. They know they want sex, but they're disillusioned enough that they don't make you jump through hoops to validate them, etc.

Ask yourself whether you want to continue being lonely. The course that you need to take to change seems hardly worse than your solitary lifestyle. Get the fuck out there and make it happen. YOU CAN DO THIS, MOTHER FUCKER!

No, just ordered liquors that are weaker. I don't really drink liquor that much so I can't give you a good example.

Get mixed drinks with weak liquor. Also, the bartenders that I get along with usually don't mind at all when I order water or soda. It would be a good idea to tip still though.

I think he meant that he wants to be in good with the bartender, not that he wants to necessarily wants to pick her up.

I should probably point out that I'm by no means a PUA, I just subscribe to this subreddit for little tips that come in handy when talking to girls. I felt compelled to post because I can definitely relate to the insecurities that go along with trying to come out of your shell. Also, please keep posting... I would love to see how your progress comes along.

I used to be very reclusive, and never went out at all. Pretty much every weekend night I was working, followed by sitting at home watching tv or playing video games until five or six in the morning. About five years ago I started to go out, and looking back I realize how dumb I was for being so self conscious about how I appeared and how nervous I was about talking to people. First of all, pretty much no one is paying attention to you unless you are sticking out for some reason. I see people al…
