Spend 500 hours at the gym, 2 years @6 hours a week, that's the best investment you could make. You'll be 30-40 lbs bigger, 6s will be much easier tol get.

2000 hours would get you to a solid amateur level. Wether you max out the skill to advanced/mastery level is up to you, and yes it takes a lot of time

Number and strength of outbreaks will go down with time. First year is the worse. Depending on the type of virus and your immune system, you might get very little symptoms. You will be "unavailable" a few weeks a year, not that bad really.

I totally see your point. The thing is, most people don't even know that they could keep their hair, they don't know this product even exists and works. These people are better having the choice to either keep losing hair OR keep their hair, with the associated risk to get some sides down the road. At the very least, it's an option to consider.

There is no hair loss guide on TRP yet, this is missing. Balding usually lowers your SMV and prevents you from banging young HB. Before researching, I always thought that you can not do anything about it, just have to accept it. Truth is I was wrong. There are several treatment options that work, in particular minoxidil and finasteride. Minoxidil is a liquid you put on your scalp, it will increase hair growth. Works well to make it seem that you have more density, but doesn't work in the long te…

Not sure if serious... If yes, stop curling and do other biceps exercices. Don't go crazy heavy anyway, focus on good form with slow controlled movement, that's an isolation exercice. For bench, eat more (get bigger), do some dumbbell work, do high volume medium weights (~5*12).

Sorry but no, 50 is decent, it's considered low GI. If you cut you shouldn't eat it. If you bulk no problem. I see your point though, other fruits are better, but mix one banana in a shake and it tastes just delicious.
/r/TheRedPill05/01/16 09:04 PM

Bananas are not that bad. Glycemic index is not very high, like 60 if they are ripe, 50 on average. If you eat it with other stuff (oats etc...) it won't peak your blood sugar. Around training it's a great fruit.

Hello there, plenty of good responses here already. I'll add a few things that can help you: Meditation is important, helps a lot not to fall in the same patterns and bad habits. Check Nofap subreddit, lots of BP men there, but it will make you feel better and give you some energy to change your bad habits. Cut porn as much as possible. I recommend supplements, especially vitamin D (5000-10000 UI per day), it raises testosterone. Zinc and magnesium can be good. Buy on amazon it's cheap. Don't be…

Don't let this legend persist, it's all over the internet and was debunked by every study. Most important hormone is T. Loss of libido exists, usually after a few month it comes back, time for the body to adapt. Most people (like 90+%) have no sides. People having loss of libido even after discontinuation is extremely uncommon, so uncommon that it is not different that the probability of loss of libido without taking any drug (yeah, this kind of issue happens sometimes, randomly). But these peop…

Definitely affordable, don't know for the US but 10$ a month is a good guess. Standard dose is 1 mg per day but even 0.5 or 0.25 is almost as effective (like 95% effective), so if money is short that works too. (cut the pill or take it every other day, in the US I believe "proscar" is cheapest, it's a 5 mg pill) I always thought there was no cure for baldness, had I known I would have started earlier... It's all explained in the link I posted.

Creatine may or may not cause baldness If you're genetically profiled for male pattern baldness then your losing it anyway. I personally don't see the difference. Regarding this, if you are susceptible to baldness or start losing hair: start taking finasteride! One pill a day, it blocks the hormone that makes you hair fall, and prevents hair loss in ALL men. Start early, it can prevent hairloss, but regrowing is more difficult. Extensive review on bodybuilding .com = everything you should know a…

Ok so you have a big frame indeed, for you 225 lbs is not much. The typical plan is to keep the linear progression on 5x5 and drop to 4 or 3 sets of 5 as the weight gets heavier so you keep progressing. Squating this much 3 times a week will get you to 3x5 @315 lbs in a rather short time. However, that's not to say that higher reps are not an option, doing one or even two sessions per week @~4x12 (lower weight, focus on good form) for example or is definitely not gonna hurt. However, regarding m…

This has a lot of truth in it, but you are mostly speaking of young, particularly stubborn and immature nerds. Most of them will get less stiff as they grow up and slowly learn the social stuff that was obvious for the mainstream much earlier in their life.
/r/TheRedPill29/12/15 06:05 PM
1

What's your bodyfat percentage? 225 lbs is half decent, really not that good if you have a big frame. You should rather aim for 315 for 5x5. 5x5 will give you a lot of volume. But working at higher reps is definitely benificial, even for strength. Doing 4x8 or 5x10 is good, varying rep ranges is needed when you get to intermediate levels. At first I was also trying to optimize the number of set and reps, but I realized that overall volume is more important. For you, biggest issue will be weight …

Lifting is a religion for me because deep in my mind it is hard wired that lifting is the only thing that can save me from the Persians. You killed me on this one. But you are right, squats + deadlift gives you insane back muscle, that you would never develop otherwise. Not saying OP looks bad, but he is in no way massive. Shouldn't we be uniting against misandric media and protesting against misandry in a way that the mainstream cannot ignore? Join men's right activists if you want, that is their plan. TRP gives individuals the tools to adapt and get the best out of the current situation. We are NOT here to change the world, and believing that you actually can change it is delusional: RP teaches you that the world is ruled by money and power, that is the simple, hard truth. FSH Muscular Dystrophy I'm not a specialist of this disease, but indeed apparently this is not like a myopathy which cripple you without any chance of having a normal life. Many people with a mild form like u/bravo56 and will do great for most of their life. Hello, first congrats on weight loss. What helped me with addictions (not food but still relevant) is to replace it with: lots of sports. Every day you should do something. Lifting is great, cardio is even better because you get an amazing endorphin shot which will make you less anxious, more relaxed and less susceptible to binge eating/drinking/smoking for a couple days. Do it everyday, in a few weeks it will become a habit and won't be a pain in the ass anymore. Secondly, when you shop for foo…

I hear you. Training too hard everyday is not smart. For beginners reading this: the most important is volume per week (volume = total number of reps basically). You can split your target volume accross 3 long hard session or 6 shorter ones or anything in between, it's up to you. Everybody respond differently too, find what works best for you.

Come on, this CNS argument, not again... It's like people doing legs once every 10 days and saying this is too hard because they can't walk the next day... 6 times a week = 5 to 10 hours per week... Many athletes do 15 to 20 hours of sports and are still alive. You need to let your body adapt though. After some time: less cortisol response, no more DOMS etc... Increase workload progressively, keep your sessions short (ideally less than 1 hour). And drink fast sugar during the workout, that helps…

That's a big part of your life and it needs to be fixed in priority IMO, because it negatively impacts the rest. Last tips: - meditation works well to lower anxiety, especially in social situation - there are supplements you should look into for depression/anxiety (magnesium, vitamin D, and others) - limit alcohol and weed, it increases anxiety and depression Good luck!

David Kimba is right, either amplify and show that you don't take it seriously, or ignore it, you cannot win every fight. Best is always be willing to walk away, in theory. If you have no other opportunity and your situation makes it that you need this job and are remplacable (no leverage vs the boss), you have to take action now to not be in that situation anymore in the future. Exactly OP's assumption is that if you don't have a gun, you "can't defend yourself" or "don't have a culture of defense". This is true in the US because everybody can have a gun But fact is, in Europe, if you wanna fight... you just start a fucking fist fight! Is it less manly than a gun fight, I'm not so sure Bonus point: very unlikely you will get shoot by some fucker, from distance (!)... Carrying a gun is weaker than OP think.

This could be an interesting debate on the side of TRP main topics, but OP's hate against European "pussies" and simplistic generalizations everywhere made it really shit... I didn't say that not having guns allowed is a good idea... Of course even if 1/100 person had a gun, it would be easier to defend against this particular type of attack... It is definitely not a coincidence that the terrorists chose this type of action in this country. But if they want to harm, they have other means anyway. Having guns cannot save you against suicide bombs, or planes crashing into buildings...

That's why I reckon I prefer the social dynamics with male friends only, especially for work/sports. Straight talk, get to the point, best idea win: get shit done and have fun doing so. When there are females, the whole dynamic changes, and yes in that case being nice is a bad power play in general. On the other hand, females respond very well being talked to aggressively (body langage/tone of voice). Don't be afraid to be assertive.

But still, after 7-10 days without jerking off, getting a girl becomes a physical NEED, not just a mental fantasy. Regarding supplements, 1 year of vitamine D (5000 UI per day) costs very little, you can buy it online. If you live in a not-so-sunny country that's a good deal as a large part of the population doesn't get enough of it, especially if you are physically active. It has various benefits, including increased T.

Yesterday: 5x12 squats, 2x5 deadlift, 5+ sets of bench press, pull ups Today: OHP, rows, curls, DB shrugs, weighted leg raises and dips Higher volume squats are nice, getting used to not using the belt. November will be a bulking month.
/r/TheRedPill02/11/15 06:30 PM

You will definitely get there. Get your body in shape and most of it will be relatively easy. The hardest part is the beginning, in your case losing the weight is the priority. I still recommend you start lifting at low/moderate volume (Starting strength or similar program), do some squats and stuff, you will feel better and gain strength along with losing the fat. Good luck, you're only 21 so you have plenty of time to improve and get what you want.
/r/TheRedPill27/10/15 09:53 AM

This is the best answer. I did half of this list + started lifting, and T is clearly higher. You just have to start doing it (oh, and jerk off less also)

The myth of sisyphus is a good book. The first part is hard to read, but it is not absolutely necessary and you can read the other parts which are interesting. A quick summary: a young Camus, in his early 20s, realize the absence of meaning of life, which will be at the center of his philosophy. Nofap works wonders regarding this Increase T through diet and lifting is also helpful.
/r/TheRedPill03/10/15 04:40 PM

Yeah it's similar, you hit around 30 reps a session, hypertrophy is best between 30-60 reps. With added complementary exercices for about 30 more reps (3x12) you'll get the 60 reps per session and you'll get muscle mass. I added 3 sets of dips to ICF when I did it for example.
/r/TheRedPill22/09/15 10:53 AM
2

Yeah it's the same number of reps But you can lift higher weights for the sets of 5 than for the sets of 8, and volume is sets x reps x weight. That's why you could do 5x5 or 3-4x8-12, both are strength and hypertrophy, but the latter is a bit less heavy and also a bit more total reps (to keep a good volume).
/r/TheRedPill22/09/15 08:52 AM
0

Stronglift is a good basis to get some strength, but I think it lacks volume. To lower a bit the weight but increase the number of reps is a great idea. Otherwise you are stuck in the power range and get little hypertrophy... And even added isolation exercices can't make up for it. Other programs like PHAT/PHUL train twice a week each muscle both in strength and hypertrophy, that could work better for you.
/r/TheRedPill21/09/15 04:09 PM
2

That is totally possible, I've done it with success for some exercices (it saves time...) 4x8 is also good, sets of 8 are done with lower weight so you may want to increase the total reps to keep the volume.

I think that's clearly decent, 1kg per month is what you can expect, the progress in body fat sounds incredible though. For example I (6'') went from 70 to 78 kgs in 8 months, 145kg deadlift and 90kg bench, being serious about it. Same body fat though, I was on constant bulking.

Go on youtube to learn the basic movements, there are many channels which explain them, watch a couple videos that's enough to start. Find a good beginner program like stronglift and do it three or four times a week. No machines, only deadlift, squat, bench press as the main lifts, 5x5 (1x5 is enough for the deadlift). Also add overhead press, pullups and some row movements (bent over row, yates row etc...). If you eat enough you will gain about 1kg per month the first 6+ months, depending on yo…

Interestingly, it has been found that 12-14 year old girls show some of the most psychopathic traits found in the human race (comparable to many dictators/genocide guys). It is supposed to go down to more acceptable levels as they grow up, maybe not in all cases, like in this story
/r/TheRedPill18/08/15 06:30 PM

There is some truth in this. I have seen many 6s and 7s getting so much attention, all the time, everywhere. Whereas better looking girls, above 8, would not be approached that much, because guys 5-7 don't go for them. If you are above average looking (7+), you have a chance with them. They might be easier than 7s and you don't need that much game IMO, especially if they are young.

All very good advice. You need to increase your testosterone, this is crucial. Lack of testosterone is in my opinion highly correlated to depression and anxiety. I experienced it. Now I can feel the energy back, my anxiety is very low and most importantly, I finally got back my anger, which is amazing to feel. Lifting will help a lot, it requires several months. Have a good diet, expose to sunlight, lift heavy weights, limit fapping and rather have sex.

Sounds awesome, I'll try this out Could you expand on the details of your system? It's on excel? Is it one page per months/week? An example of the point system, is it like "approach a girl" = 1 pt, "lift" = 1 pt etc...

You have access to a gym now, you can ask for help there, most people are usually happy to help (even if sometimes their form sucks... ask the big guys who lift heavy) You can learn a lot on youtube videos also, check "buff dudes" and "alan thrall" channels for example, they explain everything you should know.

You can do a program like ICF (ice cream fitness), 5x5 strength at the core of the program, but with some hypertrophy added. It's made for beginners who are not completely untrained. I did it and gained 12 pounds in 5 months going to the gym 3 times a week. I learned the big lifts this way, 5x5 works well (max bench 200 lbs, 265 squats, 315 DL)

Damn, that's so true... Same is happening to me (6'): 155 lbs: ugly/fat girls are all in love with me, I can have a shot with some average girls 165: most average girls are interested, without me needing to talk. Some girls randomly initiate conversation, it was not happening before. 175 (now): some cute girls start hitting on me. I'm treated differently by women. If you are starting, read this link. I had always been athletic but skinny, thought that lifting was for stupid jocks, but know I und…

I definitely recommand moderation. When I started it had many positive effects, then I got addicted (weed+tabacco) and it was hell, depression, paranoia, low T, awful social anxiety. It's been months and I am still slowly recovering. I cannot smoke anymore. That being said, some people are perfectly fine with smoking weed from time to time, with no major issue. You cannot post on TRP suggesting drug abstinence, especially with weak medical arguments.

Yes, and it teaches you that hard work for long period of times do produce great results. This mindset can be applied to many things, social "skills" being one of them. Dream big, but start small

Congrats on your progress man, good job It's a small city and I've never been to that bar. Plant a small seed, maybe you can come back later and fuck that seed. I'm also learning, and I live in a big city. It's always best to get a phone number, because you might not ever see the person again. In a small city this may be different though.

my squats were stalling at around 180 lbs for quite some time, mainly because my back was very weak (legs were good). I deloaded once and kept grinding, finally passed the plateau and got to 225 yesterday. The last month though I had to slow the progression to +5lbs/week to keep a good form. +5lbs/workout gets quickly too much for many people IMO, especially if your bodyweight was 160lbs or less at the beginning. DL I do +10lbs every two sessions, for 1x5. I also added 1 or 2 reps each workout a…

Yeah this, this is my goal, 2/3/4 plates, especially the bench... It's been 6 months, I'm at about 200lbs bench, 265lbs squats and 310lbs deadlift. (@6', 170lbs body weight, ICF program for those interested). Hope to get there in 6 more months. Good to know it would make me in the top 10% / close to the 1000lbs

There have been many studies on happiness and life choices, I don't have the sources anymore, but if I remember correctly on average couple with children didn't score high on happiness scale. Happiness was higher around 20 year old, low from 25 to 45, then started to climb up again. Meaningful positive factors were the time spent with friends (which was lower for parents) and frequency of sex, among others. So yeah I think it is, on average, dreamland, or bullshit.

You have to decide what you want and stick to it That's exactly it. You have to be in control of yourself, which mean taking some time beforehand to think of what you want. Also, don't be caught by surprise. You felt that she might be pushing for exclusivity, so prepare your reaction if she brings it up. Anticipate. Then it is simple, just say to yourself "stick to the plan", easy. Also, start to get more plates

I've been squatting for almost 6 months, and I am at 100 kg 5x5 for 77 kilos of bodyweight. For me, at 80-85 kg it started to became a bit hard and I had to deload. I worked back from 70 kgs and reached 90 kgs. I then slowed the progression, with an increase every 2 or 3 sessions. It helped me to keep good form and, I think, not injuring myself. This is getting close to intermediate level so the progression cannot be +2.5kgs each time. In my opinion, time to slow down a bit for you, or go for a …

I have had anxiety for a big part of my life, and probably some form of depression as well. I culminated last year after years of taking drugs daily, I couldn't even answer a phone text because of it. what really matters is taking care of yourself. This is the key to your problem. In my case in october last year I started to get a healthier life: quit drugs, lift, sports, healthy food. I then discovered TRP, read read read, and kept grinding. Huge mood swings, still anxious, still depressed, but…

Positive lifting consistently, added 10 more pounds for a total of 15 pounds in 8 months. And my diet is perfect now. addictions: got finally rid of weed and tabacco. Very little alcohol. sports : increased frequency, now 6 times a week job : much more efficient since I quit weed. Doing tests for starting a business on the side social : reconnected with old friends, gone to a few parties. Manageable social anxiety now (used to be awful because weed) To be done social : keep improving, more expos…

Actually he might still have the blond/blue eye genes if he is mixed-race, but with also a strong brown eye and dark skin genes, and passed the former to the child. Still, this happens a lot, in one way or the other (the most obvious is 2 parents with light eyes (blue or green) having a brown-eyed child). In my country they stopped teaching this in school, because many students were realizing that their father wasn't really theirs...

Hi there, beta guy from brazil I was pretty much in the same situation 6 months ago. It really sounds like you have low testosteron. I'm pretty sure it's the missing piece for you, as it was for me. (very low energy and zero assertiveness as well) The last 6 months, I have been eating clean, lifting weights, getting good sleep. I was feeling better and better, improving every week. I also got on the nofap train recently, and this has been a real killer for me. I quit porn first quite easily, but…

Hi lightsaberaborption, first welcome here. I checked your post history and found this post "my_head_wants_to_but_my_body_doesnt", and read this Side note, her sexual history is...unfortunately stacked against me. She's done a lot of things in the past that she regrets (when she hasn't particularly wanted to but she felt like she had to), which no doubt shapes her sexual outlook today. However, this has sadly led to her being 99% unwilling to initiate. Your view of the situation is wrong here, y…

Good post. I recently realized that being on nofap has changed my voice a lot. I can hit lower notes, and the projection and strength is much greater. Amazing side effect. It arrived around the 10 days mark.

Calculate your calorie intake on an average day for you, and if you are not getting bigger (+1.5/2 lbs per month), you are just not eating enough. Add 500 calories per day and see how it goes. Also try to get 1g/lbs of proteins and 0.5g/lbs of fat, the rest would be carbs to reach your TDEE. (calculate here http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/) Yeah a meal plan is a good idea, but it doesn't have to be that strict, it's just habits to take. It also takes some time to adjust. What I do know: Breakfa…

Same story: started lifting 6 months ago. First 2 months, DIY fullbody program, without enough calories. Still gained 2 kilos, from 70 to 72-73kgs. Then discovered reddit and went on a proper diet, ended up following ICF as well. I am at 76 kilos now, muscles are popping in my back, and my strength is way up. 5+ kilos on a skinny guy makes a big difference. It definitely works, and it helps the mind as well.

Sounds like my brother (virgin, 22) The thing is, DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO SERIOUSLY. Seriously. If you think that there is an absolute truth and a "way to properly behave", some sorts of rules that you follow and want others to follow, you have to loosen up. This way of thinking is VERY limiting for you. Get some fun out of it, learn to play with the bullshit. It will get easier once you will loose your virginity and get more self esteem in the system, this kind of thinking stems from the fear of …

I agree with you. A lot of slut bashing on the red pill, and in general a lot of anger against women from men in the anger phase. As you said if one of your girl is suspected to have a high partner count, then you should know what it means (potential alpha widow, STD, whatever) and act based on these facts. Depending on your situation and on what you want at the moment, you could dump her or keep her.

Hmm interesting. I'll definitely give it a try, as the fastline "riskier" sounds appealing to me. Learned a lot in RDPD though, having been raised in a financially-bluepill/poor-dad environment.

Still have to read this one, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad which was a nice introduction to these personal finance concepts. I believe the Mr Money Mustache blog is also often cited as a valuable resource.

Exactly the same type of guy I met last week. I was going at an osteopath school (the students do the same than real doctors for 10 times cheaper), and I was taken over by two 20 year-old students, a guy and a girl. Guy was apologizing for every damn thing. For asking me the standard medical questions. He was even apologizing for asking me to do the exercices for the check-up, which was what I was coming for! So annoying. I was probably a bit like him in my younger full blue pill days. Side stor…

About the siblings thing, the biology behind it that your brother and sisters share 50% of your genes. The parents also 50%, cousins 25%, etc... This is one of the main reason why you tend to naturally want to protect them. It has been shown that for basically any social animal, the degree of importance accorded to one relative's life is directly proportional to the genetic proximity. The classical example is mangoose, small animals that can whistle when they see a predator, to tell the others t…

I was MBTI obsessed for many months, I'm a pure INTP as well. Discovered TRP few weeks ago and it makes much sense, the difference alpha/beta is very convincing to me and explains a lot. In the book the rational male there is this harsh opinion about Carl Jung : "This will sound counter to anything your feminine conditioning has ever taught you, but men are the True Romantics, women are simply the vehicles for that rarely appreciated romanticism. One of the biggest gripes the post-sexual revolut…
