Actually the risk of UTI infection in an uncircumcised infant male is about 1% or 1 in 100. Comparatively the rate of complication due to circumcision is 2%. While there is the benefit of lowering UTI through circumcision, I'd like to point out that UTI is easily treatable with antibiotics.
