I've been straight up told that I can't advocate for both women and men's rights, just about a week ago, when I said I was a feminist and MRA. Even when I backed down and said "ok, I understand why you don't like the term MRA, so let's just say I advocate for men's issues as well." I have nothing against women, I fight for their rights, I don't get why I can't be on both "sides".

Just got promoted, after showing up late every day for the past couple years. Because I'm great with my coworkers, make sure shit gets done on-time, and I solve problems that I shouldn't even be hearing about. If you're good at your job, that gets talked about more than 'ass-in-seat' time.

Not getting emotionally attached too early is great advice. A lot of the other stuff is complete trash. Getting too attached too early can lead to either driving good relationships away, or ending up in a relationship where you've put the other person on a pedestal, and don't notice (or mention) any flaws until they've become much more of a problem than they should have been in the first place if they were acknowledged. It's the "glass shatter" effect, and it's happened to me a few times, and it…

Non-compete agreements as well with employers. Some states allow them, but they're still used often in states where they're completely unenforceable.

I don't think talking and hanging out with someone is leading them on. I've been talking with this one woman for months now, and we've gone for drinks a few times, but the intention is clear. As you noted, he said from the beginning he wasn't interested.

Using ':P' in a public forum looks just as ridiculous as it would if you actually made that face to a random stranger while talking to them. Around friends, sure, emoticon away. But in a public setting, it makes you look very immature.

This is what I don't get. If someone is overtaking me, I slow down (or stop) and step to the side. It's just common courtesy, and then you have nothing to fear, because they've passed.

I've found that the best quick fix to an odor problem is throwing some citrus peels into a microwave for a couple minutes. Makes the place smell awesome.

One thing that really helps with this is going to a place with a smoking patio. If you smoke, it's great, otherwise, just go out for some "fresh air" and automatically start talking to people there. If it goes well, you'll have people to go up to and talk to for a few minutes as you cruise the bar. If it doesn't, then head back in, grab a drink, go around the pool tables and start talking to people. Get someone, or better yet a group, interested in a game. Doesn't matter if you win or lose, stay…

Guys don't get hit on much, though. So I think it's like "Awesome, I'm getting hit on, even though it's by a dude." Gay guys have the 'good fashion' stereotype as well, so if you look good to a gay guy, chances are you look good to the ladies as well, which is a confidence booster. Women get hit on all the time. Finding out that this one lady who seems really nice and cool is actually trying to get into their pants can knock them the wrong way.

.05% fail rate vs .2%. You're right, Implanon isn't 4x more effective. But Mirena is 4x less effective.

I was going to do this, but I couldn't get past the first paragraph without feeling sick about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
