i recognize that parenting is harder now but i don’t think this means you literally don’t try at all to teach your kid anything in the 18 years you spend with them. if a parent is trying still then you’ll be able to see that they are with that kid. people don’t end up like that just from parents not being there as often because there’s still some sort of care they receive. these kids straight up just don’t have any sort of proper care. though the whole thing with parents who aren’t home a lot in…

yes, most child abusers are women. i agree that they aren’t boys and a lot of them don’t try to learn anything about it and only give their sons a “shadow” of knowledge on what being a man is and that’s obviously bad. but honestly, i don’t even think that’s an excuse because even if you don’t understand what being a man is, you can still teach your child how to be a functional person in society. you can still make your child feel safe and loved. you can at least try. none of these things are exc…

the post wasn’t really about relationships, it was about being lonely as a whole. yes attraction is based on superficial principles at times, but the main point was how these people don’t have any friends or any positive experiences to look back on, and how a lot of them obsess over having a girlfriend believing it will solve their problems. society ties your self worth to whether or not you can get a partner and a lot of these men fall into this trap because they already lack any sort of self w…

i never understood this belief. all of those men were once kids who grew up and had these ideals instilled into them. if the majority of caretakers are women, and the teachers are women, and pretty much most of the people around kids are women, then how are they learning these beliefs? women spend far more time with children then men do, and that’s even with the father home as he works. how are women somehow not responsible at all for men following harmful gender stereotypes when they are the ma…

i probably should’ve added this but mental illness also plays a role as to why someone ends up like this because a lot of people are ableist and will constantly shit on you for conditions that you didn’t ask for. honestly the normalization of it is sick. like people will actually attempt to justify it by saying “well they were weird and should’ve just tried to be normal”. it’s unlikely anyone would come out normal after constantly being dogged on by the world around you.

as time goes on and this becomes more and more common, i’m sure people will put the pieces together and realize that improving a situation like this is way more difficult than others believe. the problem is that regular people have no idea what an experience like this is like and those who have this experience don’t have a support system and are so behind they probably don’t know what’s wrong with them. they either: blame and hate themselves think the problem will be solved if they do the things…

i was abused by my family everyday as a child and even though i did force myself to learn how to talk to people, how to dress, how to look good, etc. it still doesn’t erase how the past has affected me and my ability to enjoy life even when doing things that are supposed to make me happy. i used to always believe my situation was my fault because that’s what i was constantly told by my family and my peers. then when i did everything i was “supposed” to do it ended up not meaning much of anything…

i’m sorry to hear that man. people shouldn’t have to put their career on the side just to learn something that already should’ve been taught at a young age. doesn’t help that asking for help with this problem always gives you the same response of “just go outside and meet people” and “it’s your fault you don’t want to socialize”. a lot of people don’t have to care about anything unless it affects them and this is just one of those things unfortunately.

i think it’s because when someone has little experience the other person thinks that something has to be wrong with them as there’s probably no way they’d be single if there wasn’t. it does unfairly filter out a lot of people but from their perspective getting into relationships is easy so they couldn’t comprehend how someone hasn’t been in one or had very little experience unless they were a walking red flag.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
