I think this is where people get the idea that r/mensrights is a misogynistic shit hole. This article just came across as yelling that modern feminists are wrong and can fuck off like there are no valid points to be made. Also the attacking tone was unnecessary. Men do face hardship that is unique to them. This article does not do a good job of representing that struggle.

If he doesn't feel objectified that's his right. Nobody is forcing him to do that commercial and he even said it's been a great opportunity for him. I tried the same excuses for men that have a tendency to be dropped for female models.

I had a couple male teachers in sixth grade. They were some of my favorite from that time. I also had one in fourth grade who was the father of my best friend growing up. Outside of those three there weren't many others in the school that had a classroom.

I don't see why this comment is downvoted. Technically I believe he's correct. Not to say the damage won't still be done from even being accused, but I do believe it's correct to assume that unless there's some legal sway, those accused could just not participate in the process as it would be somewhat frivolous.

He should have been fired. Not for what he said, but the method he used. Complaints about coworkers or employees in a public space like Twitter are completely unprofessional. His message may have been correct, but his method of voicing his opinion is what I feel ultimately got him in trouble.
