Without money/stability, are men aged 40+ really that desirable?

I can't speak for society at large - hell, I can barely speak for the liberal bubble of a town I grew up in - but I've noticed modern hollywood now only mentions the red pill when they want a comic relief or stereotype character. I find that somewhat interesting. Usually only found in smaller productions where the script writer/director clearly spent a lot of time online, I've seen characters make explicit reference to redpill lingo and then get shot down, only to have more success when "being t…

There are people in this thread somehow defending the idea that a green light never turns red ever, which is rather unnuanced and wholly ignorant in my perspective, but technically legal in some countries where marital rape isn't recognized. If we cut out all of that BS, I believe OP is arguing on behalf of those cases where women consent but then way later allege rape on the grounds that their consent is/was withdrawn. I have not seen a case like that without missing context, likely purposefull…

But some folks think that even if the Woman signs a Paper consenting to Sex in front of a Council of Judges it still wouldn't be enough because "she might've felt pressured" or "wanted to please him". Alrighty, now we're hitting the area where the law is defined via examples since not every case is cut and dry. In fact, I would encourage you to find a few cases where you think the verdict is unfair or unjust against the man and add them to the body of your post above for all to see. I think you …

Are you ok with this going both ways? Would you be ok with a partner that wants to tie you up, use a ball gag, etc? What if they only revealed this desire after the marriage was finalized? Does your country have arranged marriage? Is divorce legal?

Intention matters, context matters. "yes" does not mean yes when the person in question has been tied up and thrown in a car trunk. Using your example, a clearly destitute person asking for money does not raise any concerns with me, but a man asking for it and then sneaking back to his porsche would prompt an investigation and perhaps confrontation. It doesn't perfectly fit the legal definition, but I would consider it "theft" by fraud or deception if it was clear that the intent was to deceive.

when is the last time a woman has been 100% honest with you in the beginning stages of dating Are we counting body language? More than 80% of women accurately conveyed their immediate feelings towards me or the topic if we count that. I feel like I have a finger on the pulse throughout the entire date up to the last goodbye. My problem is that nearly every woman sends me signals early and often that I've disappointed their expectations or that I'm boring them. Nobody would outright say that, but…

I agree. The rest of my comment is directed at others reading the thread. If someone has a severe problem, it has a tendency to seep into every interaction with them as well. You might be confused about why one of your friends doesn't own a car or can't drive, has an extremely bad memory and bad breath, is irritable in places where substances are not allowed, and so on. This is when the behavior seems off but you can't really explain why; its a subconscious collection of things that are just ext…

You are presenting a realist approach to wishful thinking. Of course wishful thinking isn't going to 'come true'... its a wish! I could say that US culture should be more open to relaxation style massages like in Asia, and I could even put forth effort to somehow make that a reality, but it will likely never happen. Telling me so is preaching to the converted. I can still express a wish. I think the discrepancy you might be experiencing is that women can wish for less attention and that is not v…

However, as most women on PPD love to point out, they see men in committed relationships all the time. So how's that possible if you also believe men in general just want sex? You don't think most men can be satisfied sexually with one partner...? I never thought that phrase was explicitly about bachelorhood/polyamory, though it does kinda imply it.

I think its the complete opposite. Being alone affords more control. Can you really 100% trust a partner or friend? People sell their children during tough times. Inviting people into your life is inherently being vulnerable. Besides, we should not legislate for or assume the worst that can happen. Prepare somewhat if you will, but living your whole life as if nuclear war or world famine or something else will happen tomorrow is a fool's errand.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
