Also if the roles were reversed the ugly women would definitely get a makeover near the end. They didn't even make this guy get a haircut!

My husband built me a beautiful walk-in closet for my birthday this year. It was just a small room and now I love it. He even made the doors, which have glass panels so I can see all my stuff. And there's a switch to illuminate my clothes and shoes from the inside. He even made the trim!

Thank you for sharing your story. I never had thick healthy hair but it started falling out and looking really sickly 4 years ago. I work from home so while I was distressed about my hair I wasn't concerned about my job. But then the pandemic happened and for some reason everyone at work started turning on their fucking webcams. I bought a very expensive (mid 4 figure) wig that looks absolutely incredible on camera. I look like a totally different person. My wig takes me from a nobody to a stunn…

When we were in our 20s my boyfriend and I built a gingerbread house together at Christmas. He said, I promise one day I'll build you a real house. We married the next year. He would repeat this promise every so often, and we talked about all the things we wanted in our new house. Six years ago he found and we bought a tiny, run down house (1 floor, 1 bedroom) on a huge lot in a gorgeous neighbourhood in our city. Such a lucky find. Five years ago he tore down the tiny garage and built a nice si…

Unfortunately I disagree. You should read about what happened to the Vancouver Rape Relief shelter. They used government grants to support their services for women. Then they had an incident where a woman with a penis raped another woman. So they set a no-penis policy, and lost all their funding. (Plus they were harassed and threatened for months.) I admire VRR for sticking with their principals. FDS should do the same, which will prevent them from getting funding.

In high school I was thinking of being a doctor. I was talking about it with my boyfriend (who was 3 years older than me). He said it would be so cool if he had a brain surgeon for a wife because then he could stay home and play video games all day. I instantly lost any attraction for him. He changed from a boyfriend to a burden in that moment.

On vacation with my husband I decided to spend a day on my own at the Norwegian spa. You spend 20 min in a hot area (sauna, steam room, hot tub) then 1 min in a cold area (icy waterfall, cold shower, cold plunge) and then 30 min in a relaxation area (hammocks, chairs, beds, etc). They had a very strict code of silence, which was confusing until I got there. There were young men, old men, fit men, fat men. And they all stared hungrily at the women. I was so glad they weren't allowed to talk to me…

It depends what his low value characteristics are. I think if his personality is low value (sarcastic, entitled, ill mannered) there's no hope. But some low value activities can be fixed, if he wants. My husband smoked and did recreational drugs when we first met. Low value qualities. I didn't know about the drugs until after we dated for a bit. I told him I couldn't keep seeing him if he was going to do drugs and smoke. I intended it to be a breakup talk. He said he would quit smoking and drugs…

This has been an amazing year for me. I quit alcohol. From 1-2 drinks/night to 1 drink every three months. I greatly reduced my caffeine intake. From 3+ cups/day to 3/4 cup coffee in the morning. I intend to reduce further, but it's tough. I started working out. At least 30 min of moderate cardio every morning. I cut my hair short and bleached it platinum blonde. Result: energy is way up, weight is down, self esteem is through the roof, libido is up, husband is happily doing more stuff for me. A…

True, I wouldn't recommend a roofer, or any other non-certified trade. But an electrician who owns his own business? Or a general contractor who flips houses? That could be a keeper.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/06/21 02:49 PM
33

Plumbers, sure. There's also electricians, sheet metal workers, carpenters, framers, general contractors, etc. I recommend finding a guy in a certified trade who is unionized. The dumbest ones end up not certified or unionized.

There are many good men in the trades. If they have a good character, then you have a man who makes good money, knows the value of working hard, can build or fix your home later, has a job that keeps him in shape, and he works mostly with men. Plus he comes home and immediately showers, so he's nice and clean in the evenings. Don't overlook tradesmen.

She isn't horrible. She is a radical feminist, which a lot of people don't like. It's an uncomfortable philosophy. (Edit: but one that aligns with FDS.) In my circle, so many women think that by not getting married, they're beating the system. "Marriage is a scam for women!" Except they're living with men in long-term situationships, doing all the expected labour of a wife but without any of the legal protections. The men are getting all the benefits and the women are deluding themselves. It's driving me crazy!

My aunt left her husband for another man. I was 5 at the time, I don't know why she left. The other man didn't propose to her for TWENTY YEARS. It wasn't til I joined FDS that I realized what happened. He knew she'd never leave because she gave up a husband for him. And he milked those free wife benefits til she retired and then hopped on her sweet pension.

All of the other replies here are great, but I'm going to buck the trend a little bit. If you are lucky enough to find a good man when you're young, don't hesitate to accept a marriage proposal. I married at 23 years old and it was a great decision. Now in my late 30s we are years ahead of where we would be if we hadn't married. Tools for manual labour are designed for a man's size and strength. No wonder we can't do it. Edit: my husband and I laid some sod last year. It comes in rolls, you've probably seen them in stacks. /r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/20 08:51 PM

I think there used to be some truth in this. More men used to work physical labour which would keep them trim and strong. Women would have a dozen children which would deplete their bones, damage their bodies, and exhaust their souls. Now more men get fat and weak at desk jobs and women have fewer children, which is easier on their bodies.

You're right, they wouldn't want a man creeping on (aka disrespecting) their wives, sisters and daughters because those women also belong to them, and therefore those creeps are disrespecting them. Sorry to bum you out, but it's important that you know all this so you can stay safe.

Unfortunately, that's often the case. They've done studies where they measure men's brain activity when viewing men vs women and many men simply don't see women as humans. They think of them as objects, literally. Things to be used. That's what makes some men so dangerous. The type that creep on you are those type of men. The only thing to do is get away from them ASAP, before they decide that they own you.

Many reasons. Because of porn. Because they know you probably won't fight back. Because they don't think of you as a person. Because they're psychopaths who cannot understand their actions have consequences. Because society and their mothers coddle them and thus they have never experienced consequences. Etc

I don't know if I agree with her first point. While nice in theory, it was a bad thing to let people pretend to be edgy characters on the internet. I think that's how masculine radicalization started in places like 4chan. After all, you are who you pretend to be. Everything else, spot on.

These days I want to reply, "you're welcome". You're beautiful = I like to look at you. Of course he does, I put a lot of work into looking this way. He should be thanking me for my efforts. Thus, "you're welcome". If he gets mad, lol.

Yup, I've written about him before a few times, check my post history. We married young. He's in the trades, makes good money, works hard and has a really nice body. Lean and muscular. He built a house for us to my specifications and it's beautiful. Kind to men and women. Love him to bits.

I met my husband when we were both 14 on a school field trip. We lived in different cities but he moved to my city when we were 21. We started dating then, and were engaged at 22 and married at 23. We're now mid-30s, no children. ("No children" is my secret to a happy life.) Here are the practical things he does for me. Built me a house. He's in the trades and sometimes builds houses. We saved up and he took a year off work to build a big, beautiful home for us to live in. Chauffeurs me everywhe…

Ever since FDS, when I see these things I imagine myself in the man's shoes. I wake up and exit bed without making it. I shower and leave my PJs and towel on the floor. I walk naked to my closet, ruffle through my clothes and get dressed, leaving the drawer open. I go downstairs and have breakfast, leaving the milk out, cereal out and open, and dishes wherever. Maybe on the floor. Drops of milk everywhere. I go to work. In the evening I return home. My clothes are in the hamper, towel hung, clos…

YES thank you. When I got married I had a lot of hangups about being a "wife". Me and my husband use "life partner" which I know is appropriated from gay culture but it's really the best way to describe our relationship. It's a partnership: financial, emotional, spiritual, health, life, everything.

Will he do chores 50-50? Childcare 50-50? Cooking and cleaning 50-50? Will he go to all your healthcare appointments and Lamaze classes? When you're pregnant and growing his child in your body will he do 100% of the housework? When you're breastfeeding will he take care of everything else? Of course he won't. He's being cheap.

Before I was married my mother tried to set me up with the biggest losers. I still can't figure out why. Was she jealous of me? Was she being mean for her own amusement? Was it a charity thing? She tried to set me up with the IT guy at her hospital ("he's just shy" he was fat and weird), a borderline mentally handicapped man from her church ("he's working on his GED, isn't that nice?") and the son of a small town funeral home director ("so you know he'll always have a job"). He didn't expect me to do those things for him, I did them because that was how I was raised (ie, to be a man's servant). That was my mistake. Ugh, this is my one sore spot with my husband. We recently moved into a large home* and it's too big for me to clean by myself. I hired a housekeeper for a biweekly deep clean. He said something in passing that this was "for me" and I jumped down his throat immediately. "I would be happy to clean half this house if you did the other half, but you don't. This housekeeper is for you." He hasn't mentioned it since. '* He built with his own hands to my exact specifications, so he's not lazy.

I am so confused about BDSM. She says they're info femdom, so that's dominant female/submissive male, right? But she nurtures, feeds, pampers, and blows him. That sounds like she's submissive?? Is all of BDSM just men receiving attention, labour, and sexual gratification from women??

My husband is smart where I'm dumb, and dumb where I'm smart. I work in medical research, he's in the trades. My wonderful husband is a skilled tradesman. He makes excellent money, has a ripped body, has no female co-workers, and is home by 4:30pm every day. Also he is building our forever home, we moved in a few months ago. The trades are a mixed bag. There are lots of good, smart men like him, but even more mean, abusive, chauvinist pigs. If you find a good tradesman hang onto him.
