My 18yo brother has revealed himself to be a beta. Should I leave him be or try to help him?Dude, why is this a question? He's family. I would help any of my friends if I noticed this behavior. If I had a brother, I would want nothing more than to see him achieve as much as he can. Have a heart-to-heart with him. Almost like you're giving a pitch at work, pitch TRP values to him and see if he's interested in bettering himself. If he's not interested, he'll never have the self-motivation to attain his goals. Assuming he is, be his mentor. Learning the hard way is definitely effective, b… | /r/askTRP | 15/10/14 04:26 AM

Small towns - Tinder/online not much of an option. Where do I find girls, or peers in general?I think I have too good of a job to do that. Unless working at a bar will make me six figures as well. I could pick up bartending on weekends, but that might be overdoing it work-wise. | /r/askTRP | 13/10/14 05:08 AM
Fucked up now in bad situationYikes. Here's a little disclaimer: I'm relatively new to TRP, but the philosophy has been with me for a while. I'm also loaded on painkillers at the moment, so I might be a little loopy. Take what I say with a grain of salt. First and foremost, if you like your job, don't quit. You're allowing her to affect other parts of your life, which is a big no-no. She's only "toxic" because you're letting her be. Having oneitis sucks, I know. If you want my honest opinion, be friendly in encounters with h… | /r/askTRP | 12/10/14 11:37 PM
How can I "train" my body/facial language? You're right, but I suppose the frustration is more with myself, and my own body betraying what my mind is telling it to do, as opposed to looking like a nervous fuck. I feel (may not be cemented yet) that I have the knowledge and confidence on the inside, and my body just didn't get the memo. Like the muscle memory of a beta has been ingrained into me. I'm clearly over-thinking, as you said. Unintentionally, of course. I guess learning to not give a damn is easy in theory but harder in the fiel… | /r/askTRP | 07/10/14 09:30 PM
How can I "train" my body/facial language?inb4 "Don't smoke weed." That's probably not the cause of that. But it won't hurt to quit weed for awhile to prove it to yourself. I haven't smoked for...going on four years now. I partake every once in a while, when exposed around friends, but I know I have full control over it. At one time, I was a horrible public speaker. The strange thing is: I feel like I'm a great, or at least above average public speaker. I don't necessarily feel 100% comfortable in front of large crowds, but I crack a fe… | /r/askTRP | 07/10/14 09:19 PM
Cute girl in dorm advice?I see what he means. You're right morally, pridetwo, but he wants to slip in a reason why he's doing it. Girls, from what I've experienced, like to know EVERYTHING; who you are and why you're talking to them, specifically for this situation. Honestly, throwaway, I would say something similar. As a college boy myself, GO FOR IT. I've come up with clever little things like that and they normally work. Good luck! | /r/seduction | 12/10/10 04:32 PM
