Until artificial wombs and safe removal of the fetus are available, this does not matter. Pregnancy is shitty, and you cannot force a body into it.

I agree. I thought this article was terrible, particularly the part saying that 40 weeks of pregnancy isn't that bad. Men should be able to opt in or out as long as they make their final decision in the same time period that the woman has to get an abortion. No one should force children on someone unwilling.

I'm guessing the lack of roughhousing comes from the fact that everyone is so sue happy. If anyone's precious baby gets hurt at school, then it is not kids being kids, but the teacher's/school's fault.

My mom is a labor and delivery nurse, and they have a saying, "Mother's baby, Father's maybe." (Though, her hospital does mostly deal with people who are not married.) They know that the baby is your wife's, but they do not know for sure that you are the father. They can't do anything without the mother's approval because the hospital has to cover its own ass, due to everyone being sue happy. It is policy, and it makes sense.

Thanks, you helped clarify this post for me. You are 100% correct. It doesn't matter if it is true or not because the company the roommate keeps is causing drama. Drama with adults is one thing, but involving a child is the problem, especially with sexual drama. It sounds like the roommate needs better taste in women, but the parents of the child should not have to keep him around until he does. They need to look out for their child, which thoroughly trumps the roommate.

I would actually agree with you to a certain extent. Men are encouraged by society to be romantic on Valentines Day, but if they don't want to be thoughtful, they can just spend a bunch of money on jewelry, flowers, etc. Basically, by society's standards, spending money can make any man a romantic, no matter how great or terrible the guy is normally; just look at all of the jewelry commercials.

Shit happens. BC fails. I'm also guessing that soldiers would have some busy days that might prevent taking BC perfectly at the same time every day, thus effectiveness of BC decreases.

That's what I was thinking probably happened to this landlady. She probably had a bad experience with some male tenants. It's not really a good reason though because both sexes can make messes.

It takes two to get someone pregnant, so yes men do have some control because they chose to sleep with someone. However, in the case of rape, then you are correct; men have no control or choice in the pregnancy.
