| 1 | My rules of conversationAbsolutely. If you're already getting close/intimate, this isn't quite as applicable - it's more helpful for the cocky & funny teasing and whatnot at the outset. It's fantastic, almost all of my most memorable moments are from my improv & sketch comedy stuff, or with people that I got to know through that. Being in an improv troupe means you really get to know the other people in your troupe - how their minds work, what sort of things they tend to "default" to - as weird as this sounds, it's a really cool experience that gives you a bit of a glimpse into how other people's minds work. I've performed and taught improv (which I heartily recommend both as a way of meeting awesome people and honing your talking skills) We have an improv rule known as yes and or yes but.
