Great, insightful post. It's been my experience that Redpillers have generally low levels of self-awareness and low capacities for introspection and reflection and humility. And lots of unintegrated trauma. This is part of why they gravitated towards an ideology that comforts them by assigning external blame for their distress and lack of fulfillment. People with low levels of self-awareness and lots of unintegrated traumas are best avoided.

Good? Good for what? For whom? For every 1000 TRP schmucks who claim to be smashingly successful PUAs or that their dicks are never dry, I guarantee you that 999 of them get most of their action from Rosy Palm and her 5 assistants. They're slimy butt-hurt narcissistic man-children who aren't appealing to any woman who walks upright. The 1000th one is an extraordinarily attractive man who can garner some female attention and sometimes turn it into sexual conquest.

I'll get right on that. I won't draw another breath until I've satisfied my curiosity on this.

I'm sorry that you have such a superficial and materialistic approach to mate-seeking and dating. Very TRP. If you're trying to be 'ex-red-pill' it's not working.

And if he goes to great lengths to make sure everyone sees his "gym body" - like wearing skin-tight t-shirts and shorts and a spray tan when it's really cold out - we can safely conclude that his personality contains features of narcissism and vanity and insecurity. Also revealing, but not positive.

You watch way too much porn and are way too fixated on your schwantzstucker. I'd recommend just saving that party appendage for your own amusement, and have yourself a blast. Then you don't have to worry about what anyone else thinks of it.

We don't seek to date or conduct relationships with study findings and the generalizations therein; we want to date actual women. If you encounter a real, live woman who's convinced that she's happier single and childless, wish her well and be on your way. I suspect you're fishing for a reason to dump your girlfriend. Try to come up with something better.

Not true at all. I not only never met my biological father, I've never even seen a photo of him. Didn't matter, other than some awkward questions here and there.

The concept of the quality of biological fathers is something you've made a claim about, not something borne out in the conclusions of the study. The study theorizes about masculine non-parental influences as surrogates for absent biological fathers, but at no point delves into father "quality." The study doesn't either confirm or refute your claims about "good" or "decent" fathers, whatever we might agree that those are. When you cite research, be clear about what assertions are from the resear…

Are you saying my comment contradicts the assertions in your post? That it buttresses your post's claims? Gives you gas? Makes you want to drown kittens? Something else? I have no idea why you put these remarks in a response to a random comment and not in your original post, as clarification and context from which we could all benefit. Oh, and you can turn off the bold and the caps lock. Typing louder doesn't make you seem more articulate or insightful.

Not surprising at all. Boys need good men to serve as models of what a man is. How could you evolve into something you've never seen? The notion that one could become a violin virtuoso without ever having seen or heard a world-class violinist, is patently absurd. Why would becoming a man be any different?

Theoretically, one could be a PUA and not be a douchebag. Just as one could be Amish and a Formula One driver.

tldw: spare yourself 47 minutes of agony watching a douchebag with a PhD talk about fellow douchebags and their douchebaggery, in a very douchebaggerly manner and tone. Don't be a douchebag. End of lecture. Class dismissed. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Given the degree of feminization and emasculation of men in the last couple of decades, I don't doubt that your friend's behavior had a fair degree of novelty to these women, which they may have been drawn to. This is not the same as healthy mutual attraction between two people, and will not lead to anything but dalliances and flings. He's made himself into a circus act, and there's a reason that the circus leaves town after just a week. Nobody goes back to the circus once they've seen all the t…

It's a valid concern. It's natural to want strong mutual attraction with someone. And you'll find it. Keep looking. You're really young. Keep working on your career, and your confidence will grow. As you become more confident, more people will be attracted to you - women and men alike. Just be patient and thoughtful and don't settle for another nasty woman.

Women who have unresolved and un-integrated issues stemming from having had an emotionally neglectful or unavailable father, will seek to re-enact and resolve that drama - and all of its heartbreak - in their adult romantic relationships. Don't be the guy that an unhealthy, un-healed woman uses for her next experiment or test case.

The dating landscape is bleak and barren, to be sure. Online dating is like a museum of broken souls. I lost count of the women who I interacted with and within minutes was saying to myself, "Yup, I can see why she's single." However, even in the desert there's a flower or two. I hit the jackpot with my fiance. There was some luck involved; I saw her profile and messaged her just a couple of days after she joined the site. She hadn't dated for several years and had done a lot of work on herself,…

If she's got a boyfriend and she's addressing you as "my love" then she's a player and she's playing you. She's trying to create an impression that you have a shot at her, keeping you in reserve as her "plan B." She's probably hoping you'll shower her with gifts and pay for a bunch of "dates." After which she'll "friend zone" you if she decides to stay with her current boyfriend or take up with some other guy. Don't fall for it. She's not to be trusted. Your instincts are sound. Heed them.

My point is that you're a cuck. Or a shitty partner. Maybe both. And thus your opinions on relationships should be given the same credibility as a blind person's opinions on painting or marksmanship. There...did the (not particularly difficult) work for you, which you would have been able to do for yourself if you were literate or had even the most primitive powers of introspection.

Your post is a brain-ful. Will take me some time to digest, but I'll have some thoughts upon having done so, I promise. Your heart seems true and you seem to be looking for a partner with whom to explore a substantial and mutually satisfying relationship...which is the natural biological urge we all have. We can work with that. Thank you for jumping in. The conversation will do all of us good.

*Caveat: I'm answering this in the hypothetical of 20-30 years ago since I'm in my late 50s and no woman my age still has kids who are dependent on her. She's instantly disqualified if she does, barring special circumstances.* I'd certainly not rule it out. If our personalities and world views are compatible, that's a plus. If she's accomplished and has made her way on her own and demonstrates ambition and independence, another plus. Deal breaker would be if the child is a train wreck. This rule…

I get it. We've all been there. Don't envy women too much, because they have the opposite problem. They get bombarded with indecipherable gibberish from hundreds of 3-tooth-having inbred meth-head banjo virtuosos who are not only not in their league, but who can't even spell the word league. It's a shitty business.

It's time for you to break free of the whole cliched "I have a Y chromosome and I can write my name in the snow, so in order to find a woman I have to be a Troglodite fire hose of testosterone." Rubbish. Read some David Deida, like The Way of the Superior Man. Right away. And (or) watch some of his YouTube videos. Nobody nails this subject matter like he does. Skip the "woo" parts where he runs aground. And for the love of God, never mind that some in the PUA community have perverted his ideas a…

Does mommy read your posts? Do you even know the PIN for your phone? Do you bump into lots of furniture, walking around the house with your skirt over your head? Maybe some day you'll join us in the vast, happy "sweet spot" between TRP and complete cuckdom. If she's doing most of the work, what sort of partner does that make you? I'll give you a hint: it rhymes with "pity" and it stinks.

Therapy is good because it identifies the root causes of patterns that we don't want to keep re-living. Better awareness is better living.

So glad you're giving therapy a shot. Be aware that it's an onion that has hundreds of layers, so give the peeling-back process it the time that it needs. I did 4-1/2 years and I'm so much better off and have such a better ability to honor my own needs and stick up for myself. Sounds like you're getting gaslit a lot, and that your bf is more focused on TRP ideology and dogma than he is on your relationship. Cut him loose and let him devote 100% of his time to his beloved TRP BS, so you can be on…

Agree 100%. Redpill men give themselves permission to treat women like shit, and thus the women in their orbit self-select such that all the decent women run like hell and only the shitty ones with low self-esteem stick around. And then they proclaim "All women are shitty." No...just the ones who will put up with your nasty ass are shitty.

In online dating, conduct yourself with integrity and grace. Be candid and direct. And let go of your focus on results and let the results be what they will. Take a break if you feel burned out or jaded. That's really the only approach that I've found that allows me to stay sane. I tend to be very results-focused which is an asset in most endeavors but a liability in online dating where so much is beyond our control. Focus on what you can control, which is your own profile and your own conduct. …

Red pill men are mostly bitter, butt-hurt, immature and emotionally repressed man-children. They've been hurt in relationships with women, like all men have, but they've failed to own their contributions to the failures. They've learned nothing and have done no healing. They've acquired no new skills other than invent new ways of externalizing the blame for their woes. Instead, they steadfastly continue to place all the blame on "women" and "society." Their online activities are mostly approval-…

Redpillers' concept of an ideal woman is like something out of a late-night drunken frat party conversation. And guaranteed, there's 0% of them who have ever, or will ever, date a woman who's even close to that ideal.

He's not bright enough to see the contradiction in his "philosophy" wherein he expects a woman to have a low notch count, and yet she has to give up the cooch to him in the first couple of dates. It's a narcissistic level of entitlement, thinking that she's supposed to save herself for the day when he comes knocking on her door...because he's obviously the most fantastic penis-equipped creature ever to walk the earth and is totally worth waiting around for. Yikes. Worst of all is that he has zer…

Rich Cooper is a mediocre and lonely chap who has to put "alpha" in every other sentence in a desperate attempt to seem to be one. It's like Maslow's theory of self-actualization; if you think or say that you're self-actualized...you're definitely not. He and a couple of his ilk come off like really desperate, butt-hurt little man-children. "Look at my beard! Look at my tattoos! Look at my aviator sunglasses! Look at the expensive trinkets I've bought! I'm a MAN! A MAN, I tell you!" Yeah...SFTU …
