Then you have completely missed the point of her argument. Attractive people should not be taken less seriously just because they are attractive. That goes for men and women. Attractive actors can pose without a shirt in magazines, obviously acting as sex objects, and still be taken seriously. Most people don't say that sex objects should be seen and not heard to male sex objects, but it seems to happen to women.

I don't see the irony. What she is saying is that she wants to be attractive, and be taken seriously at the same time. There is no logical reason why the two should be mutually exclusive, and I believe that is her point. I fail to see how this is a Men's Rights issue. She is saying she wants to be treated with respect, and you are saying that she doesn't deserve it because she dressed up like a trollop. I hope that you can see the irony in posting this is /r/MensRights

Heres the deal. I don't talk to feminists much. I certainly have never spoken to someone in women's studies either. The only "feminists" I really come in contact with are the women in my field of study, which happens to be dominated by men. Well I wouldn't say I hate MensRights, but I generally don't like visiting this subreddit.
