I am not trying to change your mind about this or even make you feel guilty for trying to avoid potential confrontations from men, but it's funny how easily women justify these kinds of prejudices to themselves with the actions of just a few bad men, but I see nothing but outrage whenever men treat women similarly.

THIS IS ALL OF THEM. Huh? It's clearly not. The examples in the article you listed aren't about trying to make the guy mad, but rather about seeing if the guy is a doormat. Second, what kind of answer are you looking for? Something revolving around evolutionary psychology. Like how the behavior would end up being beneficial for her progeny.

There's no definitive proof, but a few things point to that direction. Like I said they attempted to smear the MR sub by associating themselves with it. SRSers also used constantly try to do the same by saying an MR mod used to post there (he had posted there like once) and that he even used to be a mod there too (he wasn't). Also when is the last time you even heard SRS complain about r/beatingwomen? It should be one of their biggest targets, but it's not even close.

/r/beatingwomen is run by SRSers. they had a whole thing a while back where they tried to use it to discredit MRAs by putting shit like Paul Elam on the sidebar. That's why you rarely hear shit about that sub anymore.

The commitment and provisions of the person they're in a relationship with? Wouldn't they lose that anyway if they were honest about their past promiscuity from the beginning? What if voting was restricted to people that meet some basic requirements such as paying a certain amount in taxes (including sales tax and registration fees, not just income tax), passing a quick reading comprehension test of a bill before voting on it (no more ambiguously worded bills and blanket corporate ads 'yes on 8 for family values'), stuff like that? I've had these EXACT same thoughts. Feels good to finally see someone that shares them.

"should" women vote? Why shouldn't they? Isn't that the question you're supposed to be asking? I'll say that I don't believe in universal suffrage, but I'll also say I don't believe in restricting it entirely on the circumstances of one's birth. Why should anyone's opinions and input matter less solely because of the way they were born? What's the argument here? Women are too selfish? What about the ones that aren't? Is it assumed that the ones who aren't are just going to agree with all the men…
