Nope. Keep trying, though.

There's a reason you're single too.

The subtext of the tweet (full of entirely BS, sourceless figures) is pretty clear that the alleged reason toxic masculinity exists is because women don't (and can't) raise men correctly. EDIT: I see some well-adjusted individuals decided that downvoting something they don't like is easier than trying to defend the tweet with actual words.

"Toxic masculinity is women's fault" is a pretty shit-stupid take. But hey, everyone in here seems totally okay with equating correlation to causation over entirely made-up statistics, so what do I know. I'm just a guy who has to sigh and put his face in his hands every time you lot decide to blame an internal problem (in this case, being a shitty person via aggression, violence, disrespect, etc.) on an external source (women not solving everything for you).

Could there possibly be a more “who fucking gives a shit” reason to get your nuts in a twist.

So “disrespect everyone by default” is your go-to? What a sad, antagonistic existence... Unless of course you’re mistaking respect for deference, which would make your demand that I “learn what words mean” pretty stupid.

“Uninspired” sure is a fancy way of saying “bullshit”.

“Anytime anyone disagrees with me, I can’t help but dismiss them as crazy so I don’t have to address the holes in my basic, generalizing and unsubstantiated argument.”

Everybody should just be, you know... respected.

r/MensRights in a nutshell: Bitching about feminism by characterizing it as bitching about manspreading.

As a child of divorce with a younger sibling, I can say that my mother thought it was completely ridiculous that unless she was objectively abusive to us the courts would just hand her full custody without a second thought.

You're right, there's no way there'd be confirmation bias on /r/MensRights.

Very rarely seen by you, maybe. I also had to stop a guy from choking out his girlfriend at a party once.

Oh oh oh, sorry, thought you meant when it went down. Yeah, we all kept an eye on stuff and stayed in touch with her. They broke up, he went on thinking he was a misunderstood Antebellum Southern gentlemen (haven't heard from him in a decade), she went on to marry someone who didn't hit her (a bunch of us were at the wedding). And as the one running said lunch meeting, I told him after the incident in no uncertain terms that if I ever saw him do it again, I'd knock his ass out.

What? We separated them, obviously.

Funny, I don't remember saying anything about what would have happened if it went the other way. I was responding to you saying you've never seen a man hit a woman. You seem to be making some strong assumptions here.

I'm sincerely glad you've gone through life never seeing a man hit a woman in front of you. Unfortunately, not everyone is so fortunate. I watched a good friend of mine straight bitchslap his girlfriend in the middle of a very civil lunch meeting. She teased him about something minor. He open-hand smacked her across the face. Meeting didn't last much longer, nor did his friendships with most of the people at the table.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
