As a woman, I am considering this. This shit pisses me off - just because there are more men working in technology than women doesn't mean that men are trying to keep women out. It's just another imaginary struggle some women made up and spread. Who the fuck cares about the genders of contributors? If it's good code, it's good code.

I sure envy the amount of free time they have to take up such an endeavor.

Maybe find a better support system, too. You need people to stand beside you, not blame you for being abused by your ex gf.

Or that penises have a special power of repelling other, potentially-malevolent penises away from them?

Anymore it's a competition of who faces the most discrimination and who's experienced the most trauma. It's a pissing contest for who suffers the most. Edit: Thanks for gilding me, I'll be sure to check this privilege ;)

Not all feminists are "bad," in the same sense that all MRA are "good."

women have battles to fight. Everyone has battles to fight. That's not to say that I am arguing your point, OP, as I feel pretty much the same way you do. I am a woman who does not identify as a feminist - rather, an egalitarian or centrist.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
