Totally agree with your post, except for the part where you mention people with heart disease and consulting a doctor before exercising; it is actually necessary for them, people with coronary heart disease can't just start exercising without proper assessment

I used to be innthe same situation, borderline depressed even though I had a lot going fot me. What actually helped me was to be honest with myself and live the way I wanted. I started following my interest and met great people in the process, people I could connect with. I get what your saying, but studying isn't much of a problem and neither are the result; I managed to have an average grade of 18/20 last year during my third year in med school. The problem is I can't shake that feeling of underachieving to the point where I can't even appreciate what I got whether it's my studies or life in general.
