In Canada, circumcision is very rarely done. The standards call for a compelling reason, and there simply are no compelling reasons to circumcise an infant boy. It is rare, but there can be reasons for adult males to seek circumcision, but at least they are in a position of being able to give consent. My brother, for example, chose to be circumcised when he was about 18 y.o.

Odd that you should mention that. One of the trash collectors on the route that services our neighborhood is a woman, and that job is generally considered to be a quite good one for those lacking a good (post-grad) education or skilled trade. That's the real world, though, so can perhaps be discounted.

I'll join you in your downvotes. My wife has a BSc degree, an MBA, and is a Chartered Accountant. Over the past 30 years or so, she has averaged a mid 6 figure salary. Not really your stereotypical loser by any normal standard.

Actually, the thread which we are currently on started with an O.P. which I pointed out was an obvious piece of sarcasm, so be careful of just how you approach irony. I have been quite happily married for just over 43 years, and am not advocating against my rights, as none have been breached.

I certainly agree with you that the word 'feminist' not applying to all women, some of whom feel that the movement has not adequately addressed their concerns, and some who simply just don't seem to care very much for women at all. As to the latter I would suggest (former?) FOX News presenter, Tomi Lauren, who suggested on-air that the 13th Ammendment (women's right to vote) be repealed on the grounds that "they just vote Democrat, anyway." I would take the O.P. with a largish grain of salt. She is pretty obviously being sarcastic, and directing that sarcasm at this sub. I can't really blame her for that, as it appears that no one on this sub actually likes women; she is just returning the favour, I believe.
