I mean, the man in question was and is in love with his wife. His wife wasn't the one forcing him to get married, and he would have lost his job and had a prison stay on his record if he had taken it. I'm curious as to why you would choose two weeks in prison over marrying someone you love even given the circumstances. It's a fucked up situation, no doubt, but your choice is a curious one.

Now, I clearly see that she is entitled by squandering the opportunities that were lavished on her and all the second chances. But where are you seeing in that article that she hates men? Seriously, just because a person is a feminist doesn't mean they're the devil. Making bad titles which warp the entire point of the article and expect you to read something more shocking and ridiculous than you would normally expect is the type of hyperbole that results in people thinking we're delusional and p…

This definitely needs to be talked about more. There is a scale of severity of drunkenness, so by definition there's a scale of how bad actions made while drunk can be. Lightly buzzed to slightly tipsy you have your wits about you and you're probably good to consent. Falling all over yourself, feeling sick, or severely slurring words? That's definitely not a position from which you can legitimately have the reasoning to give consent. What we should be teaching kids is that you are responsible fo…

So why not call it the gender equality movement instead of the "feminist" movement. Your response isn't "feminist" it's a human rights and equality argument.

There's no evidence suggest children have any more adverse side effects to coffee than a caffeine buzz and a lower tolerance for it. The FDA has no guideline and it's certainly not some highly abusive substance (i.e. alcohol and cigarettes). Is that the really citable on legal document?

Since when was coffee a forbidden drink akin to alcohol?

Any ideology taken to an extreme, or any believer in an ideology who is too far engulfed in their own ideas that they fail to see reality or fail to interpret reality through at least a relatively objective lens risks appearing ridiculous. Libertarians, liberals, feminists, and men's rights activists are prone to that.

Thank God I'm not the only person who thinks this.

Just because you've had bad experiences with women doesn't mean it's ok to label all of them x, y, or z. If a woman posted that all men are a, b, and c then this subreddit would be screaming bloody murder. However, I get that you're hurt. Break ups suck and when one feels like they've had a string of bad luck it's easy to say things you don't really mean. One trusts their mother, sisters, aunts, and female cousins right? And you trust them because they show you an unconditional and mutual level …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
