You don’t have to hit them to teach them to stop. Maybe push them away and verbally scold them if they are just kids but as for weaker bodies like some females or old people it is just sad if you fight someone that is clearly not a threat to you.

Please link me to where I said that? I said it’s not always right to fight back and if you disagree then you are an idiot. If a child started hitting you would you pick them up and yeet them at the wall in the name of self defense? If a woman who is weaker than you physically tried to hit you but you knew you weren’t in any real danger, would you hit them in the name of self defense?
