2	Male scientist suspended for saying physics was invented and built by men. It bugs me when the achievements of women are brushed aside so easily as the CERN guy did, I find that very unfair. It feels to me that by saying "physics was invented by men" all contributions of women are made to vanish and all contributions by men are made to fill up the entire discipline, if that makes any sense. 2	Male scientist suspended for saying physics was invented and built by men. if we have 100 test subjects, and we give 50 of them an education and no taxing caring responsibilities, and the other 50 no education plus a daily task of caring for children and the message that success is having/caring for children, then which group has the higher chance of producing the more scientists? Physics being started by men is not to be seen from just your perspective. A lot of people who started these types of things started it at a time when it was not glamorous to do so.
