I've traveled to Houston but haven't spent a great deal of time there. This was years ago, but I have to say, friends who live there now are also lamenting the old days when people were nicer to each other. I won't presume to know for sure, but it sounded like the white car tried to cut off the truck from what the person filming was saying. I can only imagine the guys in the car weren't thinking about the damage to the car and only about further confrontation. From other comments, it sounds like…

You don't even understand Stand Your Ground laws. It's not a catch-all defense for shooting someone who attacked you, you have to be able to prove your use of force was not excessive and yes, you do have to prove that escaping was not a better option if you shoot someone. ONLY if you can prove you had reason to believe you were in grave danger is a Stand Your Ground defense justified. Using a gun in any case of self defense that does not involve a weapon or certain special circumstances, like an…

"You don't, actually, have a right to use a gun on someone who comes at you "without a weapon of some kind." Also, " If someone throws a punch at you and you shoot them, you will have to justify to a court that you feared for your life from someone with considerably less power and responded within reason." Which rarely works. If they don't have a weapon, deadly force will not be ruled justifiable without very special circumstances, usually involving cases where the attacker is much larger and mo…

Do you understand what you're reading? Why are you focusing on the point of the use of a gun when there was no gun involved in the video? In any case, you're still wrong. No one said that pointing a gun at someone isn't a crime. Even then, the law requires you to rule out escape and non-lethal force to defend yourself, no matter how you're being threatened. A white trash whale screaming at someone through a window does not present an immediate threat. There is no legal concept of "preemptive phy…

A gun constitutes deadly force, a fist, and words, do not. There is a huge difference. I work in legal, just stop.

Preemptive physical force is not a recognized defense in court. When someone threatens you, you call the cops. When someone throws the first punch, you're reasonably allowed to respond in kind. The two dudes in the car started the physical fight. Self defense is not a defense for a bitch fight, it's for protecting your own life which isn't necessary until actual violence begins. Stop spreading this nonsense.

She tried to act tough and start a fight, probably thinking they'd back down because she's a woman. She got what she wanted and instantly started crying like a baby, getting clocked in the process. That's PPD.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
