May be different in the US where I’m assuming this happened, but in Canada the age of consent is 16 unless there is a position of power, in which case it’s 18. https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/other-autre/clp/faq.html That source I’ve given is for Canadian law which clearly states teachers and coaches cannot receive consent from 16year olds even though the age of convent is 16.

I would imagine it’s around that count yeah. But I mean it’s those same numbers for cancer and heart disease in my family/friend circle too. Hardly true. The percentage of false rape accusations hovers around 35% yet it’s hardly ever punished. This “believe women” rhetoric is very dangerous and is a very real fear. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t fear those other things but the thing he does fear is far from irrational.

Funny thing is, it a guy used force to get out of a domestic violence situation he would be labeled a wife beater but when a woman does it she’s brave. I think if a woman is being abused she should kick his teeth in given the first chance... same goes for a man in that situation.

I would describe them just as you did. Non biological cultural norms. I just gave my definition for gender. The personality and identity of a man or a woman as it directly relates to sex. Yes. However gender and sex are related. We just generally define gender incorrectly as a society. I do think sex and gender are binary. I don’t believe in an infinite number of genders nor do I advocate for legislation on compelled speech for gender pronouns. I agree that we attach things to gender that don’t belong there. Like fashion, colours, etc. That have nothing to do with the sexes biology. Biology I don’t think that sex and gender are separate things. I think men and women behave differently as do girls and boys behave differently (especially after puberty) because we are biologically different, our genders is our behaviour and functionality in society in relation to our sex and hormones.

This is silly. These are all fund raised private organizations. Politics should be able to strong arm the scouts into being coed if they don’t want to. We segregate gendered activates because the TWO genders are DIFFERENT. It’s idiotic and against biology to think otherwise. Radical feminists want to perpetuate this lie that gender is a social construct so they can feminize boys, their whole mission is to destroy men, both socially and systematically.
