use a false time constraint. always have a "I'm kinda busy right now but I wanted to take to you" type excuse that you can rely on to eject out of a situation.

Also wanted to add that social status is huge in high school, work hard to improve yourself, it'll help even after you're done with highschool

I'm trying to say that there are people who dress to please themselves and themselves only. Clothing is not necessarily an activity that people partake in because they want to impress others, this is where I feel like you're becoming a little presumptive. sorry if I came off a little harsh

I completely disagree, you're just shitting on everyone who has a deep sense of fashion or enjoys dressing. you can't state that everybody dresses to impress others as if that's a fact, that's just fucked up.

hahaha damn, glad to see you're not taking it too bad. was the interaction not that great?

exactly what I was thinking. if you're comfortable enough to do what you're about to do, no one should be able to question you, especially not yourself.

Hmmm, now that you bring it up, not for PUA purposes or anything, but I wish there was a mini-guide for what men should order at bars (to save the most money/to have an edge/to possibly stick out)

I completely understand what you mean by transparency, but is PUA/Seddit something to really hide? By this I mean if a girl reads self-improvement magazines and books would I expect her to tell me (and if she didn't, would it be dishonest of her?) At the same time, I may also be asking you, is it a good topic to bring up just to have something interesting to talk about? I read PUA and Seddit to become a more confident, more fun person, and I feel like it could be interesting to bring it up on a …

Bro! Congrats! I'm not anywhere near a professional or expert in PUA, but the fact that you are taking these steps to improve yourself is amazing. From braces to getting back in college, I'm glad you decided to make a change for yourself and have decided that you will not settle for less when you can get more. And then I read that you had cancer at one point, and this in one step told me exactly how much of a badass you are. I bet you already know that if you got over something like cancer, you …

what do you guys think about him texting her "Anyhow you seemed pretty cool if you want to hook up again I’d be down"? I like how he made this clear to her from the get-go instead of being dishonest, but wouldn't it be better for him to have said something in person? I would have told her next time I saw her "Hey I'm not looking for a relationship for personal reasons but I do enjoy fooling around with you, how does that sound?" or something along those lines.

is there anything I should be wary of when listening to him?

Wow, never heard of Nick Sparks before but I really enjoyed what he had to say about male/female roles in conversation. Essentially it sounds like he's boiling it down to: men are value givers in conversations (need to be interested) and women are the actual flowers in conversations (need to be interesting).

not sure what is up that guy's ass, but I completely agree with what you're saying. keep it up, the world is full of haters like that for every single guy like you or me.

great response, I feel like adding something like Lol, ok, enjoy thinking would do a great job of telling a girl that. Appreciate the help

I think these responses are awesome, but would I be wrong to think that these responses may come off as a little bitter if they're fired off at a girl like that?

that's actually hilarious, has anybody else had success with doing something like this?

you're absolutely right, and if anything, he really shouldn't be concerned that he creeped a woman out like that, because a woman who gets creeped out over something so trivial that probably isnt worth going after anyways.

I feel like the best thing you can do for yourself to fix your inner game is to read Models by Mark Manson. It helped me get into the right state of mind mentally and I would say it ultimately prepped me for the success I had in dating in college. good luck

elaborate on "make it obvious you like her".... I understand what you mean by don't fantasize about her too much but it can be hard to keep the two mutually exclusive

All women are special, unique, and wonderful in my opinion - I've never met an attractive one I didn't fall in love with for 5 minutes or 5 years. That was fucking beautiful and a great way to think about women. You've really just changed my perspective. Thanks!

just wanted to point out that this is all obviously after you've built some comfort and attraction. otherwise your chances of getting a "no" are much higher. great advice

no smileys? It seems like quite a few other people in this thread are suggesting to use smileys. I'm curious to see your thinking behind this.

What kind of asshole friends do you have? Unless you were doing something completely unreasonable, I don't understand what they're talking about.

Cross country girls at my school are probably some of the least attractive girls... selection bias, I know, but YMMV.
